Just By Being You

Part 12

The next morning Presley and Bucky were sitting at her doctor's office in the exam room and she did another ultrasound and said "Yeah definitely 7 and half weeks Presley." She checked all the measurements and let them hear the heartbeat again. She said "Ok so here is you all another copy..You need to get you some prenatal vitamins and since you having nausea real bad I would suggest the gummy ones also I would suggest you two reading the What to To Expect when You are Expecting book together. No more cheering and dancing Presley I'm sorry. I would refrain from the 4 wheelers atleast till you are in your 2nd trimester." 

Presley wiped tears and said "ok thanks." She got dressed and Winnie took them by the store and let them get what they needed. When Presley went inside the house Winnie said "Bucky what happened?'

"Her birth control failed cause she got her shot late. Her dad is coming tomorrow to sit down with all of us to discuss a plan for me and her I guess." he said

"Sweetie you two were not ready for this." Winnie said

"Mom I love her I know we are young but I don't care I want to marry that girl that's in that house."he said 

"I know you do sweetie." she said

"Thanks for taking us this morning." Bucky said 

"You are welcome..I have to go so I'm not late for work." Winnie said

"Bye mom." he said as he went into the house. When he went in he put the ultrasound pictures on the fridge with a magnet. Presley came in behind and smiled and said "We need to clean the house up."

"I know where do you want to start." he said

"The kitchen you need to get rid of that beer baby." she said 

They spent the day cleaning and getting laundry done and put away and all the bedding in the house was washed as well since she had been so sick to do it since their friends left. She left the task of the trash to Bucky and had him help clean the bathrooms. After all the cleaning was done they went for a swim and then she made them a home made pizza and fudge brownie sundaes. 

The next day Presley put together a pot roast with veggies for dinner with their parents. Bucky helped his dad tend to the farm till it was 3 o clock then they both stopped for the day. Bucky came in and said "Babydoll something smells good." and she was biting her lip and said "It's the pot roast baby." He went to take a shower and get dressed while Presley set the table and turned on some music. Bucky came back downstairs and said "I missed you today." as he kissed her cheek and wrapped his arms around her waist. 

"Mmm I missed you too." she said 

"You look beautiful and supper smells amazing." he whispered in her ear. 

She giggled and said "Thank you." 

There was a knock on the door and Bucky answered it and all of the parents came in.  She sat the pot roast on the table with a spoon and everyone made their plates. Joe said "You still got it sweetheart." 

She smiled and said "Thanks daddy." 

James said "Ok you two we have to discuss the elephant in the room." 

Presley just played with her food and Bucky said "Ok." as he grabbed her hand and enterlaced their fingers. 

"I already know that I have to give up cheer and dance the doctor told me that yesterday." Presley said 

"James Buchanan that means you will be giving up football it's not fair to her that  she has to give up her sport and you don't." James said 

"Yes sir." Bucky said as he looked down
