Just By Being You

Part 6

Saturday Morning

The cheerleaders and the football players were all gathered at the school about to board the buses to head to the competition. Bucky could tell she was nervous and he said "Baby you are going to do great I know it I've seen you in practice." 

She smiled and said "I hope so." 

"ALL RIGHT EVERYONE LOAD UP!." the football coach yelled

Bucky kissed her and said "See you in a bit." 

Presley got on the cheerleader bus and plugged in her headphones trying to calm her nerves she was scared cause the last time she tried to do cheer and something bad happened she messed up and she was nervous that with her boyfriend being hurt that she would do it again and this time would be a lot more embarrassing. 

They all got to the place of the competition and the girls were doing the stretches and warm ups. Nat was spraying sparkles in the girls hair and Wanda was putting the stars on their faces. The person that is suppose to let everyone know when they go on said "Myrtle Beach High Stars you all are in 5 minutes for your first routine of the day." 

"Ok thanks" Natalia said 

They made sure everything was good with their uniforms and hair and then lined up where they had to go to be next. The first routine of the day was to the song "Castle by Halsey" which required a lot of back tucks in the air from Presley. The one that made both her and Bucky the most nervous cause she had to do triple tucks in the air at certain parts of the song.

The announcer "Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome Myrtle Beach High Stars as we start our first category of the day "Freestyle Stunts." 

The girls walked out and when Bucky heard the song "God really this one has to be first." he said. Steve stood next to him and said "She's going to be fine." Then it was time for her first triple tuck in the air and he whispered "Land it baby come on." and she landed it and he said "FIrst one down 2 more to go." and Clint said "She's good Buck." "I know but she hates these things." as she landed her 2nd one and she landed her 3rd one near the end of the song. 

The first routine was done and they went back stage and Presley found the trash can and threw up and Nat said "You did good." 

"Yeah I know." she said 

Next category they were doing was their full routine to Wild Wild West by Will Smith. The announcer called them back on the stage and they got in their position including her up in the air but no tucks but dancing and cheering in the air. Sam started dancing to the song and made Bucky and Steve laugh as they watched the girls. 

They finished their cheer portion of the competition and they went to change into their dance uniforms. Presley and Nat were excited for their team dance cause they were front and center and loved the dance they choreographed together. They never let the football players see this routine during practice so they weren't aware of what routine was going to look like. 

The announcer said "Let's begin the dance portion please welcome the Stars dance team." 

Presley was the only one on the floor at first then Nat joined her and they started dancing to "Gonna Make You Sweat" then the rest of the team started dancing behind them and all the boys were quiet and there was a lot of hips rolling booty shaking and then when it was just Nat and Presley grinding air the boys lost and it Pearson came up behind Bucky and said "You are one lucky guy Barnes look at your girl." and Barnes just shook his head and smiled. "Steve for a girl who hates being center of attention she sure knows how to move when she's with Nat." Bucky said
