College

This is more of a core 5 chapter, not mainly focused on Juliet, sry 😅

Juliet

1 missed FaceTime call from Auntie V

I sighed and flipped my phone over. Second year of college, and the stakes were already high. I was away from Macy and Geo, I mostly focused on school and in my short free time, my nose was in my computer typing away. Liam was on the same complex as me, But we rarely saw each other. Gillian had to take online courses, since she had a baby, Vanessa, one year before. I haven't checked my social media in days, hell, I haven't checked my phone in weeks. I missed my friends, family, high school, free time, and sleep. I finally lay my pencil down and picked up my phone, sliding right on one of Mom's calls, and the phone began to vibrate. "Jules?" Her voice was hopeful. "Hi mom..." "Jughead! She's calling!!" I smiled. It felt good to take a break.

Macy and Geo (Narrator)

The twins sat down in front of Macy's phone, the FaceTime screen pulled up. a dramatic weight was suddenly forced on their backs. Archie and Veronica couldn't visit, being caught in business. This week at their private college, was visiting week. They had service, open house friends and family, and unlimited calling and texting time. The Andrews had scheduled a FaceTime for this time. "Ready?" Geo asked, seeing his sisters finger dancing on the screen. "Yeah, you, um, just press the button Geo." she sighed. Macy and her parents hadn't left on the best note, and she wondered if she could ever take it back. She had been sent to the cut-off society boarding school as a punishment, and Geo went with her to ensure she wouldn't crack. He tapped the button and their parents faces popped up. "Hey Mom, Hi Daddy. Listen I'm sorry-" "We forgave you a while ago Macy." Archie ensured and Macy's face softened. "So Geo, any possible daughter in laws?" Veronica asked and Geo groaned.

Liam

I was chilling in Autumn's dorm, when I got a call from Dad. I excused myself  and I stepped into the hallway. "Hey dad!" I greeted and He answered with, "Have you figured out your sexuality yet, son?" I knew he would get worried about this, he had been struggling with it himself. "I'm fine dad, and bi as ever." I laughed and he sighed. "Alright, just checking in. Say hi to Juliet if you ever do see her." He added, before I heard a distinct "Keller! Break's over! This building ain't gonna design itself!" "Looks like they need you, bye dad." I chuckled and He hung up. I went back to tapping my pencil, and writing the occasional word or two.

Gillian

"Shhhh, Shush now, Nessa, Mommy's just typing her essay." I cooed bouncing her on my lap. She was one now, but fussy as ever. I lived in Riverdale still, taking my courses online, rather than attending college like the others. I wish I could go, but I had to stay for Nessa. The doorbell rang and I zipped up my hoodie to cover my sports bra and I carried Nessa to the door. "That must be Grandma coming to pick you up for yoga." I said and she smiled her gummy smile. I opened the door and Mom was there in her yoga outfit, with her "copy" of Nessa's baby bag, that she insist she made. "Hey mom, bringing Nessa to yoga?" I asked putting her hoodie on. "Of course" she smiled and I handed her my baby. "You just get as much of that school work done and I'll watch Nessa. " "Thank you so much mom, I'd be lost without you." I hugged her and gave Nessa one last kiss on the forehead before watching them drive away. I walked back to my desk and continued typing for another hour, before picking up my phone and pulling up our old group chat, all the way at the bottom of my text list.
