Sorry about the lack of updating on both stories. I've been very busy this summer!

I stand at my locker sighing to myself, drumming my fingers against the doorway as I think to myself about what I'm missing for math class, also thinking about that boy Jim in one of my advanced classes. I suddenly remember what I've been forgetting and slam my locker door shut... with my (your color) hair stuck in it. I squeal in surprise, desperately trying to look at my lock and undo it. A few jocks laugh at me and don't spare me a second look. I desperately try to look through my hair and unlock the door, as a laugh erupts from behind me

"Looks like you're in a bit of a pickle there, little lady." I recognize the voice and laugh as that of Two-Bit Mathews. I'd tell you his real name if I even knew it. Nobody really even remembers it because he always just goes by Two-Bit. He gets called that in the first place because of the way he's always getting his jokes in. Not even the teachers can remember his actual name, they even call him Two-Bit.

"Oh hey, Two-Bit. Can you uh, y'know, help me out?" I ask, trying to not panic

"Will do, Miss (Y/N). What's your combination?"

"(Your locker combination." I breathe out, smoothing the other hair from my face

Two-Bit reaches over and starts working on my combination, soon cracking it open and setting me free. "Thank you." I smile, letting out a sigh of relief, standing up straight and cracking my back as I'm at it.

"Anythin' else I can help ya with?" Two-Bit asks, locking my locker

"I don't think so, but thank you!" I smile and scurry to class, a big smile on my face. He's real cute, although I doubt my parents would like it if I brought a nineteen year old home when I'm only a sophomore and sixteen in December. I think I'd have to wait a little while until I'd introduce them to... WAIT. Why on God's green earth am I planning on taking Two-Bit Mathews to meet my family?! Oh, (Y/N), you've done it again, another day, another boy to love. I walk into class with a big Cheshire cat smile on my face, taking my seat.Later on in the day, I stay behind to do some extra math, because why not? I stand at the board, scribbling away with the Pre-Cal equation when I hear Two-Bit startle me by saying-

"How y' doin', pretty lady?", causing me to drag the chalk across the board due to my fright

"Two-Bit!" I shriek, wiping away the line of chalk

"Sorry, (Y/N), thought ya heard me come in here." Two-Bit laughs and I shake my head, rolling my eyes. I then turn back to my math equation, talking quietly to myself. "You know, I think this might be an equation for us old birds."

"Yeah? And why's that?" "Because 'toucan' do this 'cause o' how hard it looks." Two-Bit slaps his knee, roaring with laughter

I take a moment to think about the joke and then I start to laugh. Although, it sounds more like nervous laughter. I gotta admit, that was a darn good joke. Two-Bit starts to make a little small talk as he watches my mathematical processing on the chalk board.

"Y'know, Hannah, I did learn a little sum' about triangles."

"Oh yeah? What'd you learn?" I smile and blush, since I blush at nearly everything

"That there're these acute ones and if you were one, i think you'd be a cute one." I hear him grinning, even though my back's turned.

I smile at him as I finish the equation. "Well if you're so smart, then help me with this one." I smirk and show him the equation:

9x - 7i > 3(3x - 7u). I take him step by step with the equation. By the end of it, he takes a deep look at it.

"So, it's i < 3u?" Two-Bit takes another look at it, "Wait! That spells I love you in mathlish!" I smile and blush furiously when he says it. He has a nice Southern accent and I know I can get real Southern too when i talk fast. One thing leads to another and we're kissing in the math classroom. We eventually leave and go outside the school. "What're you doin' Friday?" I smile, hanging off him after a few more kisses since I'm so short

"Nothin." Two-Bit smirks back "I'll see ya then, meet me in the park near your house." He smiles like a big ol' goof and runs off towards his side of town

"You don't know where that is!"

"I'll figure out which park it is!" He laughs back, waving and running faster. I laugh to myself, biting my lip and walking down the steps. Friday really couldn't get here any faster, could it?
