Changbin's POV
I decided to just stay at Felix's house for the weekend.
Yesterday (Saturday), we went to that book store place again so that I could buy the next volume of my book.
But today, I'm not really sure what we are going to do.
Just then, Felix came over to the bed and shook me saying, "Get off your phone! Let's go walk somewhere for breakfast." he said with a smile.
I got up, grabbed my flannel out of my bag, and followed Felix out the door.
"Where are we going exactly?" I asked him.
"Not sure. I just figured we could walk around the district and see what looks good."
I nodded.
Where we lived, the streets were pretty calm in the morning.
We were walking for a quite some time when we finally found a restaurant that the both of us liked.
I looked the place up and it seemed like it had some good food.
"It's just across the street." I said taking a step onto the crosswalk.
All of the few drivers slowed down.
All except one.
"Changbin!"
It was the slowest second of my life.
I felt tears on my shirt.
And a warm embrace.
It was Felix hugging me.
Then I snapped out of my shock and looked around me.
Someone came out of the car in front of us and said, "I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention the the light. Are you alright young man?" with an eager and apologetic voice.
Then I looked at myself and Felix.
No blood, no bruises.
That car almost hit me but...
"So, are you alright?" the younger asked, sniffling.
...but Felix just saved my life.
I pulled us both up from the ground and hugged him tight.
"Thank you Felix."
~
It's just as they say.
It all happens so fast.
My mom showed up afterwards and had a talk with the driver and the police about distracted driving.
I didn't listen much though.
Me and Felix were sitting on bench holding each other's hands tightly.
"Changbin." he spoke up.
I looked at him.
"I'm glad you're okay." he smiled.
"And it's all because of you." I thanked him, punching him in the shoulder.
My heart melted knowing that he cared so much about me.
But I couldn't let him know that.
We just laughed, like we always do.
A few minutes later, I got an idea.
"Why don't we go into that restaurant behind and get some lunch?" I asked.
"I thought you'd never ask."
~
Sunday morning was a shocker but I moved past it.
Sort of.
I keep thinking about Felix for some reason.
His smile when we were sitting on that bench.
He even payed for our lunch yesterday.
And when we were going over to my house, he drove for my mom.
And-
/snap/
"Hey Changbin, are you listening?" said Chan.
"Oh, ofc-course." I lied.
"What is today?" he asked.
"Monday."
"No, I mean the date." he clarified.
Suddenly, Seungmin walked up to our desks.
"Today's the 24th."
We all sat together and worked on the paper assigned by the teacher.
The teacher didn't really care if you talked, as long as you got the work done.
"Jisung and Woojin came up to me and told me they needed to talk to you after school." Seungmin told me.
"About what?" I questioned.
Seungmin shrugged.
"That's pretty random, isn't it?" I wondered.
