Third POV

"And I was thinking flowers. They could be strung around and bouquets could be everywhere. What do you think?" Kitty paused, turning to Alex, who had barely been listening.

"Hm? Oh, yes, sorry. That will be fine."

She grinned and turned back to the person in charge of decorating, going back to what she thought could be done. Alex was just about done with literally everything. The wedding was in three days, and he had mixed emotions.

He wanted it to be over with, but he also didn't want it to come. Noticing that no one was paying him any attention, he quietly slipped away. He was about to make his way up the stairs when Lafayette stopped him.

"Ok Alex. What's wrong?"

"What? Nothing. Nothing's wrong."

"Uh huh. Sure. You can't lie to me, your wings are droopy."

"Nothing's wrong, I'm just tired."

"Alex."

He sighed and sat down on the stairs, putting his head in his hands.

"It's just, the wedding is in three days. Three days! And just, I don't know. I'm not going to have as much free time like I do know, and even that time is shortening. I'm not going to have time to myself, or time to go see our friends, or any of that. So I just, I don't know what to do."

"Well, it seems like Kitty is pretty much planning the whole wedding, so you don't have to worry about that. How about this. Let's to visit everyone while all of us can. Make the most of these three days."

Alex sighed and looked up at him.

"I guess you're right. Let's go."

Everyone decided that it would be best to hang out with each other while they all still could. They mainly hung out at either Hercules and John's shop or with Maria at the bakery, mostly so they all could raid the food. And for a little bit, Alex forgot that he wouldn't be able to do this in a few days. He forgot that he wouldn't be able to really see any of his friends. Who knew if he would even stay in this kingdom. But at the end of each day everything would come flooding back.

It finally became the day before the wedding. Final decorations we're being put up, food was being made, and Alex had decided that he needed to make one last visit while he still could. And it had to be that night.
