Monday, lunch time.

The two ladies stepped out of Telly's office.

"I'm going out for lunch," Telly told Greg as they passed him. "All the documents you asked me to sign are on my table."

"Well enjoy your lunch," he replied. "Good to see you again Diva," Greg winked at her.

"It was nice seeing you Greg," Diva responded in her very diva-ish tone and flashed him her winsome smile and waved as they left.

"He's a flirt, honey," Diva told Telly as they walked past the lobby.

"Well if you're single, good-looking and you've got what it takes, might as well flaunt it baby!" Telly replied laughing and Diva agreed smiling.

As they stepped into her car, a nice black Mercedes Benz, they looked like two rich teenage girls going out on a shopping spree.

"So where are you going to take me this time?" Telly asked.

"Let me surprise you!"

In a few minutes, they were at a familiar place. At Old Town Grill.

"I know you're very loyal, but twice in 12 hours? Come on Rachelle, I mean Diva!" she protested.

"Hush girl! Don't call me any name," Diva said. "This will be interesting. I promise."

"Ok," she replied reluctantly.

As they entered the door, the two greeters at the front had that wide smile on their faces as they greeted Diva and Telly. "Good afternoon Ma'm!" they said.

Diva smiled back at them and headed straight, not waiting for a waitress to take them to their table. Diva went straight to one table which has RESERVED sign on it. They sat down and Diva asked the lady who attended them to give the menu to Telly. Country music was playing as a background music and the place was already almost half-full and more were still coming in.

Telly looked at the menu and chose the lunch specials for the day. Grilled chicken with green salads, and Diva got her 'regular'. Then the waitress left.

"You've got to be kidding me!" Telly said in a hushed voice. "You own this place?"

Diva just smiled and nodded.

"You're our supplier, and then the owner of this joint, and a spy, what else do you not do?"

"I call it mystery shopping honey," Diva replied so coolly. "Spying is too negative. I just learned from the best."

"Ok, call it whatever," Telly replied, rolling her eyes. "So what is true with what you told me last night about yourself?"

"I work as a Sales Manager in this cleaning company that supplies you with the cleaning stuff, from Mondays to Fridays, evenings I come here to check on them. And then weekends I work at the hotel," Diva replied.

"You work like a horse! You don't have family or friends?"

"My parents live in Atlanta, but they are retired, just traveling here and there. I've a sister. She lives in California with her family and we see her every Thanksgiving and sometimes, Mother's Day," she narrated. "As to friends, well, when I started working weekends at the hotel, I lost most of them since I did not have much time."

"You are crazy! Why would you do that?" Telly exclaimed.

"Well, long story. But to cut it short, I chose to come here to Smyrna when I wanted a change of pace in life, and your dad's offer was so timely."
