"Psychopaths can't love!" Butch yelled.
"What?" Brick asked.
"You heard me," Butch said.
Buttercup rolled her eyes, "He went on a Lifetime movie marathon last night."
"Don't trust nannies, overprotective southern boyfriends or husbands who cheated with nannies," Butch said.
"Butch, shut up." Boomer muttered as he rubbed his eyes.
"Why are you so grumpy?" Brick asked.
Boomer pointed towards his phone and slide over to the redhead. Brick grabbed the phone and Blossom peek over his shoulder. They saw a protest went on last night about little kids having jobs in factories. Brick passed the blonde back his phone and saw Boomer almost falling asleep.
Butch started to toss french fries at the sleeping blonde. Buttercup watched with an eye roll. Butch began his own game of basketball, playing all the parts. Coach, commenter, and the troubled teen. He used his Lifetime knowledge from last night but stopped with his arm in the midair. Buttercup poked his cheek and Butch screamed out something.
Boomer was scared awake, he landed back on the ground. He groaned once his head bang against the back of the ground. He jolted back up and saw Bubbles running in. She slammed a piece of paper on the table. She looked at him with her eyebrow raised but helped him up anyway. Boomer muttered thanks as he glared at Butch. Butch snickered as he shrugged.
"I saw her coming and she was holding a box of donuts," Butch said.
"So, you had to scream?" Boomer asked.
"I'm a man of many talents," Butch said.
"What's on the paper?" Blossom asked.
Bubbles giggled, "It's acceptance letter from Fashion Institute of Technology! I'm going there this fall."
"Ew, college." Boomer muttered.
"That's really good!" Blossom exclaimed. "Can't believe you already gotten your letters."
Bubbles sighed, "Yeah . . . it sucks, to be honest."
"What, why? I still haven't anything back for me and I'm in sports." Buttercup said.
"'Cause I no longer have free education." Bubbles said.
The teens looked at her, she had on a serious face, then all of them started to laugh. Bubbles smiled, finally feeling good that her joke actually landed. She took a seat next to Boomer, who was looking at the letter with a frown. She chewed on her bottom lip and look at him. Boomer looked over in shock.
"Do you have plans for after school?" Bubbles asked.
"Yeah, going home and eat." Boomer replied.
"I mean for college."
"Why would I go to college? A place that sucks away my money and soul."
"I thought that was high school." Brick said.
"It's everywhere!" Boomer exclaimed.
Bubbles sighed, "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
"Alive." Boomer said with a shrug.
"Have I ever told you that you're my best friend?" Butch asked.
Boomer rolled his eyes, "Why do we even need to talk about college? Let's talk about anything but college."
"How come you don't like college?" Blossom asked.
"Have you ever step foot inside a college? The moment you, boom! You're gone. Forever will be missed." Boomer said.
"You make it sound like it's hell." Buttercup said.
"I imagine it is." Boomer said.
Butch snorted, "College is just another place for school. At least that's what dad says."
"Parents just want to kick you out of the house the moment you're done with high school." Boomer said with a shrug.
"Not mine. They would rather have me close by home." Brick muttered.
Blossom sighed, "I wish mine would let me stay home. They want me to go to school right after I graduate."
"I can't believe that they are sending you to hell! You need to fight back. At least ask for one year off." Boomer said.
"What about you? Are you parents making you go?" Buttercup asked him.
Boomer shook his head, "And why would I? Go back and get more pity just because I have more trouble than most people."
He grabbed his binder and opened it. He showed an image of a map and building plans. The teens looked over and noticed it's a large field with a camp. It has cabins and dining hall with a lake and finally in the middle a campfire pit.
Boomer smiled as he tapped against the plans. Butch shrugged but his eyes widen at the size of the dining hall. Buttercup looked around for the sports area and saw the field with different things for sports, she nodded approval. Blossom and Brick noticed the cabins but their eyes landed on a building called 'Sweets' and looked at each other with a smile. Bubbles looked over at Boomer.
His eyes scanned the plans. Without looking he grabbed the pen from Bubbles' hand and wrote notes on the corner. Buttercup leaned back and pulled Butch back some, so he doesn't drool on the paper, and Butch sighed. Butch bumped his shoulder against hers and wiggled his eyebrows.
"Maybe we could build something together," Butch said.
"You need to work on your flirting." Buttercup said.
"I tried to offer me watching over you and now you think my flirting is bad?"
"Butch, stalking is not romantic in any way."
"Jeffrey Dahmer did it."
"And he was a cannibal serial killer."
"But he was in love with a person."
"Sometimes it hurts just talking to you."
"I like you too, Buttercup."
Buttercup rolled her eyes but with a smile. She turned back to Bubbles, who was looking down at Boomer's plan and looked back to Butch. Boomer slammed the pen down and leaned back with a smirk. Brick noticed that he mixed up letters but didn't say anything. Instead, he nodded and turned back to Boomer.
"So, instead of having to go to college you plan on opening a camp?" Brick asked.
"Yes. I may have read Percy Jackson to much." Boomer said.
"I still think you should go to college," Blossom said.
"No thank you. I rather have my soul intact than you." Boomer said.
"This isn't a normal day for any of us." Buttercup said.
Butch smirked, "Psychopaths can't love!"
"Don't ever watch Lifetime again!" Boomer yelled.
