"So let me get this straight. You had to fake your death to get rid of the bakery?"

I asked Jace as I raised an eyebrow. He told me the story of why he had to fake his death but it just seems so weird.

"Yeah. And that bakery is so important to my family and that's why my grandfather gave it to me. I just couldn't give it up because my family would hate me. So I had to kill myself off so that my Mom would take it over. And i'm sorry that I put you through so much pain. I just couldn't be the best father and husband that you and Bayley deserve if I had that bakery."

Jace explained.

"It's okay. I mean, Fergal would've never sacrificed himself for me. and i'm so happy that you're back after all the shit I've been through."

I said as I rested my head on his shoulder.

"I've missed this. I've missed just being with you and seeing your gorgeous face everyday."

Jace said as I smiled.

"I love you. And I've missed you way more."

I said as I kissed him.

"So tell me..where the hell have you been for the last five months?"

I asked as we pulled away from the kiss.

"In and out of hotels and homeless shelters. I needed to come back at just the right time. And this is the perfect time."

Jace said with a smile. Thank god he came back when he did. Hell, if he came back just a second later...he might've just come back to my dead body on our bed. But now that is out of sight and out of mind. My life is great. No more pain. No more sadness. Just happiness. And our little family is almost complete...

Fergal's POV

"You guys need to go to bed. Tomorrow is your first day of kindergarten! Aren't you excited?"

I asked the girls as I tucked them into their beds.

"We miss Mommy."

Lydia said as I sighed. All the kids have been like this since I got custody of them, especially Kyle. Kyle has never known him as my dad and he is definitely not used to being with just me. He only knows Jace and Pamela as his parents. And that breaks Rebecca and I's hearts.

Rebecca and I decided to get back together. We just work so well together and she knows me so well. Pamela just turned me away and she's just a plain bitch to me. Rebecca helped me realize that I wasn't the one at fault for my outbursts. Pam is.

She just doesn't fucking stop. She just pushes people away to the point that people don't give a fuck about her anymore. Sure, she would tell you that it's because "all she knows is how to be pushed away because of her family and Aaron" but that is just a load of fucking bullshit. The truth is that she's a spoiled little brat who deserved everything she got in New York and me.

"I know guys. You'll see your Mommy soon. Just go to sleep."

I said as I stood up and headed for the hallway. I shut the door to their bedroom and walked into the living room to see Rebecca watching TV.

"The girls are asleep. They keep asking about Pam though."

I said as I sat next the Rebecca and rolled my eyes.

"They'll forget about that worthless little bitch eventually. Just give them time. Besides, since Pam is so defenseless in that big ol' house of her's with no protection...maybe you should visit her and give her a big spoonful of her own medicine and beat the shit out of her."

Rebecca suggested.

"I might just do that."

I said with a smile as Rebecca kissed me. I might just do that...
