HE APPROACHES ME with a light smile. A nervous look and a shaky hello later, he's standing half a metre from me.
"It's nice to see you too Angel." Kylian say before I can get a word out. He is clearly noticing my nervousness.
It's been over a year since I saw him last and he seems so different. His success has done him good.
I study his muscular body under his white t-shirt and his strong neck.
"By the way, happy birthday!" he say and I look up, meeting his beautiful brown eyes.
"Thank you." I say a little shyly.
"I wasn't expecting to run into you here." he say, looking at me in a different way than before.
"I would have thought it had been weird if you had. Africa isn't the place on top of the list with places where I could see myself running into you." I say laughing a little.
"So you have a list." Kylian say making me blush and quickly regret what I said. I won't deny that when I travel to a new place I think of how big of a chance it is that I could run into Adam, Anthony or Kylian.
"Are you here with someone?" he ask, looking around in the food market and I respond by shaking me head.
"So you are celebrating your birthday by yourself?" he ask in shock.
"Pretty much, I'm not really planning to celebrate it." I say smiling a little.
"Oh that's not what we'll do today. Your birthdays are usually big parties and loads of people, you're not going to have a birthday by yourself. At least let me offer you a dinner!" he say.

"Thank you for today, even though this was more than a dinner." I say after that Kylian has followed me to my hotel.
"I really enjoyed it." he respond smiling.
"Me too."
"Maybe we'll see each other back in Paris when you get back." he say slowly moving away from me.
"Yeah." I laugh before adding "Let's not let it take one year before the next time."
"Goodbye." he say after nodding.
I watch Kylian walk away from me like the most people in my life have done since I left Paris, mostly because I haven't seen them and the contact has just disappeared between us.
I don't think I've had a better birthday than today. I love my family but it's always to much; the music, the people that I don't really know and the partying. Today, with Kylian, was all just a treat. It was like we were just exploring the city in a really peaceful way, I really liked it.
I have always thought that Kylian was more alike my party crazy sister, who he is very close to, but maybe he isn't the person I thought he was.

I really love to travel and see new places. This is a chapter I've enjoyed writing a little more.
