I'm exhausted after a whole day on the water with some of my new friends that's shown me around. It's my third day at this amazing hotel in this small village in the middle of nowhere just by the water.
I've taken a warm bath and really moisturised my whole body so that it feels like I've been reborn. I cuddle down in a thick sweater and a pair of long leggings, paired with a pair of warm socks.
I open my laptop and call Frans on FaceTime. He quickly respond and I get this feeling that something is terrible wrong.
"Hey Frans. What's wrong?" I say with hesitation in my voice.
"Angel, it's Italy. I really think you should call Mom and Dad, they've tried to contact you all day." he say and I frown.
He knows that I don't speak to my parents anymore after how they reacted when I told them that I would end it with Adam and start traveling. It must be something big if he tell me to do that.
"Are you at them?!" I panic.
"Angel don't freak out. I'm at them for a reason and you should come too." he say and I quickly end the call.
I'm going to yell at him if he speaks about Mom and Dad like that and saying what I should do.
I call Mom on FaceTime to yell her out and both my parents pop up on the screen.
"Angel. Are you okay?! We've been trying to contact you all day." Dad say as Mom burst out in tears of relief and sorrow.
"Spit it out. I don't want to talk to you but Frans said that it's something with Italy." I say a little angry.
"Angel...Italy is dead." my Dad say and it's like time stops. I can't hear what he's saying anymore and the only thing I can hear is my regrets.
"I'm taking the next flight to you." I get out before slamming the MacBook shut.
I waste no time and quickly pack my things into my suitcase. I'm driving to the airport and taking the fastest path to east USA.
I couldn't quite get my head around what my dad had said but I think that I was panicking in my head while my body is a big question mark.
I didn't even know what to question myself in this situation which I usually is pretty good at. It's all frustrating and stressful in the same way.
How fast can I really get to east USA?

I know that some parts of my book are a little boring but it is mostly to fill out the good parts so that it all tie together.
