Like a wave it engulfed me,
Tormented I was daily.
"When'll I get better?
When'll I recover?"
School and my friends I missed,
"I could attend..." I wished.
"I'll get fine anytime now,
Amd when I'll, I'll feel so wow!"
They must be doing this and that,
While on my bed, I lay flat.
Soon the day came
When I woke up healthy.
I can't tell you how
Much I was happy!
As I put specs on my eyes,
I felt ready to touch the sky.
