What are you hiding
I want to unveil the mystery too
Of the black holes that
You have for eyes,
Hidden behind the brown curtain
That glows like a nebula
At the touch of rose-fingered dawn,
And is swallowing all my space and time
Ensnaring me, I'm sinking fast
In your quicksand, and I gladly
Let myself fall in the chocolate waterfall
You have for eyes
I wander in wonder
Circled by the caramel cascades
I'm lost in this gleaming bronze maze
You have for eyes
I run my fingers over these cinnamon walls
And I'm suddenly delighted that
I find no escape from this kaleidoscope
Of shades of earth speckled with gold
That you have for eyes
