Regret mounting up and up

Problems piling up
It's getting suffocating and
There seems to be no way out.

It's been a long night
The differences got loud
But the sobs got quieter
And the imagination is at its darkest.

It's been a bad day
There seems no end to it
The frustration keeps growing
It's getting worse by the minute.

But you don't have to be like this
I won't let you down
Neither fast, nor slowly
So get rid of that doubt.

I understand it's horrible
But trust me with this
I'll be your hope, I'll be your lighthouse
In this stormy, morose sea.

I'm here to listen, I'm here to comfort
Share your sorrows with me
You don't deserve to suffer alone
When you've got me.
