Chapter 26 -
We ordered our food and ate it with hardly any communication between the three of us throughout the entire meal. I knew I had really hurt Harry with what I said and I honestly did feel bad about it but at the same time I didn't understand why I mean look at all of the crap he had put me through ever since we met! Seeing as I was feeling terrible I decided I would pay for the meal even though it caused yet another disagreement with Harry about who would pay for it he finally gave in and let me pay.
We got in the car after the meal and began to drive in silence for about ten minutes.
When we got back to my place Harry walked through to the lounge and out of the garden door. I sighed as I watched his tall figure walk away and knew that he was still hurt by what I said.
I checked my phone and had a text from my mum saying she would be round in about half an hour to pick up my sister.
"Liv?" I called to my sister breaking the unbeatable silence which had seemed to have followed us back all the way from the restaurant.
"Mums going to be here for you in about thirty minutes so if you wanna spend some time with Harry I suggest you go do that now."
"kk" she said in response as she made her way out of the back door closing it behind her. I laid back on the sofa and shut my eyes as I thought about what a disaster this day had been all over one stupid little kiss that never even happened.
(Harry's POV:)
After saying what she had said to me I had no words to say to Clara in that moment so I decided I would go outside so I could be alone and have some space. I sat at the garden table and put my head in my hands thinking about all that had happened that day.
"I knew there was something up with you two." An innocent voice broke my train of thought. I looked up to see Olivia standing by the door I smiled at her as she made her way over to me and took a seat at the table.
"Olivia." I sighed. "I'm really sorry about everything that's happened today."
"It isn't your fault Harry, you shouldn't be apologising."
I sighed in response not knowing what to say.
"Is everything going to be alright with you and Clara though? I will see you again, won't I?"
"Of course babe, it was just a silly argument, all couples have them. It's normal to argue." I smiled at her.
"Good because I can't wait to see you again Harry, I love you so much."
"You too love." I smiled back at her as she got up from her seat and embraced me in a hug.
A while later Clara's mum stopped off to pick up Olivia and take her back home. She came inside along with Clara's step father and they stayed for a quick cup of tea which only took around half an hour.
"Right, come on then Liv, you ready to go?" Asked their mother.
"Yep." She smiled as she got up from the couch.
"Want me to come and help you get your things from upstairs?" I asked her as she nodded in response before I followed her out to the hallway and up the stairs to the spare room where she had been staying.
"I'm going to miss you Harry." She said as she walked over to the chest of draws to fetch her hair brushes which where sitting on top so she could pack them in her bag.
"I'll miss you too Liv, but I'm sure your sister will let you come down to London again soon."
"Yeah." She said as she walked over and placed the hair brushes inside of the bag before zipping it up.
