Chapter 20-

"This sleeping arrangement is ridiculous!" Harry grumbled.

"Harry will you just shut up? You haven't stopped complaining since we got into bed and that was an hour and a flaming half ago!" I said feeling really infuriated.

"Well how am I supposed to get any sleep with the amount of room you take up?!"
"Your over exaggerating Harry! I do not take up that much room!"
"Really?" He asked sarcastically.

"Can't you just be grateful? At least your not sleeping on the couch."
"Actually I would prefer that."
"Well go on then if that's what you'd prefer!" I said as I turned over and tried to shove him out of the bed.

"Just be quiet Banks." He said after a long sigh.
"No, I think you should shut up Styles!"

To my surprise after saying that he did shut up. I shut my eyes and listened to the silence as I began to drift off to sleep.

"Clara stop hogging the covers!" Harry's voice rang through my ear drums startling me as he dragged the covers away.

"I wasn't hogging the covers you moron!" I said through clenched teeth as I grabbed the edge of the blanket and pulled it back towards me.

We fought over the blanket for about two minutes dragging it back and forth, back and forth until I sighed and rolled onto my back, looking up at the dark ceiling.

"Give up?" He asked. Although I could barley see him I could sense the smirk playing on his lips.

"I just can't be bothered with your games any more Harry." I sighed as I put my arms down beside me. "I mean if your not tired yet can't we just lie here and talk like normal people do?"

"Fine." He sighed as he copied my actions and also rolled onto his back. "What do you want to talk about Clara?"

"I don't know, I guess I just wanted to get to know each other a bit more." I whispered slightly shrugging my shoulders.

"Okay, so talk then." He said bluntly.
"Um..." I said thinking of what we to talk about.
"Well?"
"I don't know, I'm thinking."
"Well, have you got any hobbies?" He asked.
"Um yeah, I suppose I have a few."
"Like what?"
"Well I like to read and bake but I haven't done any of them in a while..."
"Baking huh? That's pretty cool."
"Really?" I asked sounding shocked as I expected him to laugh in my face as he usually does at everything I say.
"Yeah, I worked in a bakery back home in Cheshire before the Xfactor."
"Oh yeah I totally forgot about that. So you any good at baking or did you just work behind the tills?"
"No, I know how to bake...between you and me I am an amazing baker!"

"Vain much?" I asked smirking.
"Not at all, just speaking the truth." He said as we both laughed.
"So what do you think your better at then? Being a singer and entertaining a crowd of screaming girls or being a baker and baking some bread for the locals?"
"Well I think most people would agree that I am equally the best at both." He said as we giggled again.

We spoke for about half an hour laughing and joking and I could tell that this time he was actually enjoying being in the same room as me. During the conversation I put on my bedside lamp so we could see one another clearly. We ended up turning on our sides to face each other.

"Isn't this a lot nicer Harry?" I asked him smiling.
"What?"
"This. Y'know being nice to each other instead of arguing 24/7?"
"I suppose so." He said thinking about it as he looked at me and I smiled at him. "But that doesn't mean I'm going to stop being-"
"Annoying?" I sighed cutting him off.
"Yeah I guess." He said as he laughed a small laugh.
"Thought so." I said giving him a half smile before I turned over onto my other side to face away from him again. I did think I was a bit of a fool for getting my hopes up and thinking that this sweet side to Harry would last forever.

"What's wrong?" He asked as he shuffled closer to me and placed his arm around me as if he was giving me a hug. I looked down at his right forearm arm which was wrapped around me, I looked down at his large tattoo of a black rose as my eyes moved down his arm I noticed an anchor which was sketched to his skin alongside some little doodles next to it.

"N-nothing." I stuttered as he rested his large hand on my tummy. "I'm Just tired that's all." I lied as I was actually a little upset at the fact that he wont change his ways.
" What's the time now anyway?" I asked.

"Probably around 3am." He answered.
"Oh." I said. Everything went silent again as I closed my eyes for a moment. Suddenly, Harry moved his body closer to mine. I opened my eye s quickly as I shuffled away from him feeling a bit awkward.

"Sorry, I-"
"Its fine Harry. You don't have to apologise." I cut him off after he removed his hand and moved away from me lying on his back again.
"Its getting late, I suppose we better get some sleep now." He said but I could heard the awkwardness in his voice.
"Yeah, I'm getting tired anyway." I replied.
"Well, night love." He said before turning back over facing away from me.
"Goodnight Harry." I said as I quickly turned over and gave him a kiss on the top of his soft brown curls then I turned back over and drifted off to sleep.
