Chapter 31-
A couple of weeks after the barbecue and me and Harry hadn't really spoken much seeing as I couldn't really be bothered with him at that particular moment in time. Until one day when he asked me to go with him to Liam's place (along with the other boys) to hang out and try and work on some lyrics for their new album.
The door bell rang at 11am that morning and there stood Harry dressed this time in a pair of dark blue skinny jeans with a plain white t-shirt and his usual tanned boots with the little heel which we're starting to look a bit more scruffy since the first day I laid eyes on them.
"Are you ready to go?" He said as he looked at me through his sun shades as I opened the door.
"Yeah, hello to you too." I muttered before walking off to get my handbag as he waited outside.
I walked outside and locked my front door as Harry walked over to his usual range rover.
"How about I drive today?"
"You must be mad if you think I'm letting you behind the wheel of my car!" He scoffed.
"I was talking about driving mine you dumbass." I said through gritted teeth.
"Oh." He said before making his way over to the passenger side of my small silver car which in all honesty was an embarrassment compared to his.
"You wanna go in this car?"
"Yes."
"Okay. If you wanna embarrass yourself then sure." He said quietly, rolling his eyes.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean you have the choice to go in a range rover but you wanna go in this thing. I don't want the boys to think I'm dating someone who can't even afford a decent car."
"Shut the hell up Harry! You might be a show off with your money and your cars and your big house but I'm just a normal girl. If you wanna be like that and if your friends feel the same way then forget it! I won't come with you!" I said feeling like I wanted to strangle him right now before making my way back over to my front door.
"Clara! Come back." He called and sighed.
"No! What's the point? All you do is belittle me and I'm fed up with it!"
"I was only joking! There's nothing wrong with your car."
"Yeah!" I scoffed. "You're only saying that because you feel bad!"
"No I'm not. Look your cars fine. I never meant what I said alright?"
"Well apologise then. Apologise if you never meant it."
"I don't need to apologise Clara."
"Yes you do."
"No I don't."
"Just say your sorry and I'll go with you."
He sighed before saying "I said I never meant it so I don't need to apologise. Don't worry about it I'll just go alone."
"Fine." I decided to give up seeing as Harry was as stubborn as a mule and I knew I wouldn't be getting a sorry out of him anytime soon. I sighed as I rolled my eyes before walking back over and getting inside the drivers side as Harry got in the passenger door. I could sense the corners of his lips bending into a smirk.
After a while of arguing in the car because I took the wrong turn at least three times although I still think Harry gave me the wrong directions on purpose, we finally arrived at Liam's house. Harry took my hand in his before ringing the doorbell.
