Getting Through To Her

Y/N was sat in Professor Port's classroom to see how each of the potential Huntsmen and Huntresses. He looked at Weiss who was ready to fight, and then at the rest of Team RWBY. He noted Ruby had recovered quite well from her wounds

Yang : (raising her fist) Goooo, Weiss!

Blake : (waving a small flag saying "RWBY") Fight well!

Ruby: "Yeah, represent Teeeeam RWBY!

Weiss: (lowering her sword and looking over at her "leader") Ruby! I'm trying to focus!

Y/N folded his arms and shook his head, scowling a little at Weiss. He watched as Weiss began to fight a boar Grimm. She used her rapier weapon to deflect its attack and roll to the side, readying herself for its next move. The Grimm stood a distance away from its enemy, studying her.

Port: Ha-ha! Wasn't expecting that, were you?

Ruby: Hang in there, Weiss!

Y/N leant forward in his seat to get a closer look at the fighting techniques the Schnee used. Weiss sped towards the oncoming Boarbatusk, sticking her blade straight at its skull until they met and Myrtenaster got trapped in the beast's tusks. Weiss held on to the hilt, and was tossed around as she struggled to get the rapier back.

Port: Bold, new approach. I like it!

Ruby: Come on, Weiss, show it who's boss!

Weiss turned to glare at Ruby, only for the Boarbatusk to turn its head and rip the sword from her grip. Myrtenaster landed far away from its master, who was then knocked back by the creature's tusks.

Port: Oh-ho! Now what will you do without your weapon?

Weiss looked up just in time to see the Boarbatusk charge again, rolling out of the way just in time to avoid getting trampled and make it crash into a desk. Y/N looked shocked at the impact mark it left

Y/N: Woah. That was pretty close

Weiss rushed at her sword and slid to get it back in her hand.

Ruby: Weiss! Go for its belly! There's no armor underneath-

Weiss: (turning to Ruby) Stop telling me what to do!

Ruby looked hurt. Y/N looked at the Grimm getting ready for an attack and shouted to Weiss

Y/N: Just focus on the damn fight!!!!!!

Meanwhile, the Boarbatusk leapt into the air and rolled into a ball, spinning rapidly in the air and landing on the ground, consistently gaining speed until it launched itself at Weiss. It sped closer and closer, but Weiss activated one of her blue-white circles and blocked the roll, leaping up into the now-black snowflake symbol and turning it blue again so she can drive the blade into the Boarbatusk's stomach. It squealed and fell silent while Weiss gasped in relief. Y/N folded his arms, unimpressed

Port: Bravo! Bra-vo! It appears we are indeed in the presence of a true Huntress-in-training!" (as Weiss stood up at attention from her exhausted position and Ruby continued to frown) I'm afraid that's all the time we have for today. Be sure to cover the assigned readings, and... stay vigilant! Class dismissed!

Y/N: Not bad. But I've seen better

Port: Ah Mr L/N, you believe you can do better than Miss Schnee?

Y/N: I don't think I can. I KNOW I can!

Weiss: No you can't! You haven't had the training I've had!
