Hunk thankfully had a head start. He sped off the road, on 132 teladuv street. He pulled up at the driveway to Pidge's house. They got into the house, locking the doors, shutting every single window.
Pidge covered the windows with slim, sheer sheets. She was panting, not even realizing that the group was calling her. Pidge tried to act confident in herself, and brave. She was trying to act differently than she felt.
"Okay, I'm sorry, let's go. Wait, where are we going? We don't have time." Pidge rambled, rummaging through her things. Hunk sighed.
"We're going to a motel far away, now pack. This was too close." Hunk sat down, waiting for everybody to get their things and leave.
"I can't believe Lotor just freaking left us!" Lance ranted as he slung a blue tote bag with his belongings on his shoulder. Keith turned around, he had a bag with him. "Was it really a surprise?" Keith rolled his eyes, walking toward the front door. He was restless, scared, and paranoid.
Pidge grabbed her small green suitcase and dragged it to where Keith was sitting. Shiro really only took a purple bag with a few belongings. Allura brought her best outfits along with her, which was her whole suitcase.
Coran oddly didn't bring anything.Secretly, Hunk snuck everybody's suitcase in the trunk. He really didn't know how long they would be leaving for. Hunk exhaled deeply before he drove off once more. Ezor and Acxa weren't following the group anymore, that was a plus.
Allura's phone dinged with the cute ringtone that sounded like a harp.
Lotor: I love you didn't mean that I would stay. I'm sorry, Allura.
Sent: 11:42 p.mAllura's lip quivered, her skin cold. She was aggravated, on her own birthday. Her birthday would be ending soon, anyhow. She felt delicate, her mind fragile.
"How far is this hotel?" Shiro looked out the window to an unfamiliar place. It almost looked like Daibzaal, but it couldn't be. It was more lively. Indescribable, actually.
"Remember that lilac field I took you guys too, well here it is." Hunk pulled up to the appealing field, with a cute little yellow hut to the side of it.
"What field? When?" Shiro looked through the tinted window. "Oh yeah, you weren't here." Hunk tried to laugh, but couldn't. His heart was still racing. Acxa and Ezor could pull up and kill them at anytime. It would be over.
As soon as Allura stepped out of the van, she threw her phone somewhere into the field.
"Damn phone." She uttered, walking through the lilacs. Keith and Lance looked at each other, Keith hiding in Lance's arm, still fearful of the earlier events.Pidge jumped out the front seat, and started to walk with Shiro. Hunk waited for Coran, who sat in the further back. Allura sat down in a corner, wiping tears that were leaking from her beautiful eyes.
"Allura?" Keith had finally stopped clinging to Lance, and walked over to the weeping girl.
"Keith. I messed up, again. How am I still a part of this group?" Allura sobbed, hot and salty tears flowing down her face."Come here. You didn't do anything wrong. Don't cry. We hate when the princess cries, especially in her 20th birthday."Keith managed to smile. "I can't believe you're older than me." Keith giggled, which made Allura smile.
"Sometimes," Allura began. Keith sat down to talk, even though it was 12:00 in the morning.
"I don't want to ask for help. It makes me feel useless, or that I can't do anything myself. I needed help with Lotor tonight. He told me, he loved me. I didn't say anything in return." Allura tugged on her long, white, locks.
