The all just stared at the box for a long while.
A hundred things ran through their minds.
What if Lance or Harper wrote this?
What if the letter had petrifying news?
Those were all 'what if's' though.
They needed to see. The needed to find out.

Nadia glanced at the others, who were gazing at the brown box. She reached in for the blue envelope with purple ribbon wrapped on it.
She carefully unsealed it, not ripping it open.
Nadia read the letter aloud.

"Dear Paladins, Wait Paladins? What the hell are Paladins?" She stopped. "I don't know." Keith shrugged, gesturing for her to continue.

"I've sent this letter forward to give you a confirmation. It is now confirmed that Lance Serrano/ McClain and Harper Braxton/Young are missing. You have 72 hours. Find us." Nadia swallowed. "There's more?" Hunk asked as she flipped a hidden page. Nadia nodded, exhaling sharply.

"Here's some proof that they're here." They saw elegant, but shakily lettering on the bottom of the page. "One of you guys read." She pushed the letter across the table. Shiro was the only one who wouldn't burst into tears, maybe just a single one. He slid the letter to himself. "It's Harper's handwriting." Shiro bit his lip.

"Romelle's gonna be..." Hunk started, but never finished. "It says.." Shiro began.

"Guys...it's Harper. Help, please. We miss you, Lance and I are here together. He's hysterical. He misses all of you, he's crying out for Keith.
He's cursing the shadow man or women out.
Please. Come find us. And Blake, I love you.
I love all of you." Shiro ended, and every swore that they saw a tear roll down his face.

"Oh God." Pidge covered her eyes, stomping on the ground. Hunk just stared, he looked devastated. Nadia was in a pure state of shock. Keith was an inch away from balling up into a circle and crying. "How'd the shadow person let her write it?" Nadia managed to mumble.
Shiro looked at her, and sighed.
"I'm honestly stuck." He admitted.

"Did Lance say anything?" Keith snatched the letter away from his cousin. "He did." Keith anxiously bit the inside of his cheek. Pidge wanted to ask if he was alright to read it, but her began anyway. The small, fragile handwriting was no other than Lance's.

"It's Lance. I would think you have forgotten me yet. Please come. Find us. Help us.. I miss all of you so much. Keith probably won't be the one reading this, but to whoever reads it...tell him that I did plan for us to get married. And have a normal and happy life together." There was more to be read, but he couldn't. It physically pained to just read.

"Tell Pidge, Hunk, Allura, and Shiro that I will never ever forget them. Neither my special girl, Romelle. I'll miss Blake's ability to be so charming, and our rivalry. Tell Adam that he was like my big brother, and I wish him and Shiro a good life together. As well for Pidge and Hunk. Tell Nadia to take care of Veronica. Love, Lance McClain." Pidge continued, tears swelling.

"At least we know that they're not dead." Nadia nervously said after a long period of silence.
Adam and the others noisily opened the back door, stepping inside. "Hey." Allura sadly smiled, just to see everybody sulking.
"What happened?" She didn't bother taking her flats off. The letter openly laid in the middle of the table, and Nadia scored down for her and Allura to share a seat.

"What is it?" She mumbled, gently picking up the envelope. Nobody answered, but she figured it was another anonymously written note. Romelle, Veronica, and Blake soon joined all of them at the table, as Adam was called over. Allura was the one to read, and soon they all became the same as the others. Sulking.

"There's no way that we'll be able to find them in three days." Blake solemnly stated.
"We can try." Pidge defended.
"I've done my portion of crying. I want to find my brother." Veronica bitterly crossed her arms. "Me too," Allura sighed.
