—————————Bones POV—————————
I had been away from home for two months and I have honestly never felt worse. Don't get me wrong I love my job I always have and I always will but I just feel like I left with me and Georgie on a bad note. I know we got back together and our relationship is going good and strong as always but after the Jamie situation at the party I feel like I just shouldn't have left her alone. I've been putting more pressure on the guys to get the job done as soon as we possibly could. "You alright boss?" Spanner was always the one to see when I was acting different. "Fine. Just something doesn't feel right about Georgie. I'm worried about her." I just needed the confirmation to know that my wife was okay and safe. The last time I spoke to her was last night but she just didn't seem like her usual happy and bubbly self, she told me that she had gotten a big but Georgie's immune system is usually like a sold stone wall nothings getting through it. Spanner, Peanuts and I was finally on our way home, Georgie's phone was switched on which is very unlike her anyway. Something just doesn't feel right about this. I had finally arrived in Manchester. I had received a few messages from Marie's asking me if Georgie had gone on holiday she had called round this morning and there was no answer. This is just so out of character for Georgie, I really hope she's just gone to stay with a friend because she never likes being at home on her own.
I was finally home. "Georgie! Babe you in?" It wasn't like Georgie to leave the door open but then I realised the door lock was broke and the latch was on the floor, it wasn't like that when I left. I headed into the living room to see all the pictures from the mantelpiece smashed up on the floor and our wedding dvd smashed next to a hammer. My heart was sinking more and more by the second. Georgie wouldn't of done this. What had happened here? I rushed into the kitchen to find a sight that broke my heart more than what I ever imagined was possible, Georgie was lying lifeless on the floor. She was badly beaten and unconscious. "Come on George! I'm home early for you! Come on wake up talk to me! Please! The ambulance had arrived for her. I could take a pretty good guess at who would do this, I know one thing for sure is he was not going to get away with this.
————————Georgie's POV—————————
****2hours earlier****
I hadn't been feeling well in the last few days so I had decided it would be best to have a lazy day watching television on the sofa. I had left the door on the latch in case Marie or my Mum came round, I didn't particularly feel up to getting up and down for visitors. I was dozing on the sofa for most of the day. I woke up to hearing banging and noises coming from my house. Bones wasn't home yet so it must be Marie. I was so wrong. "Well hello Georgie!" Why him? Of every person who could come round here why did it have to be him?! "Jamie!get out now before I call the police!" My heart was both breaking and racing, especially today. Five years ago today was the miscarriage of mine and Jamie's child. "Thought I would come and pay you a visit today to remind you of what every single person in the world thinks about you. Not so confident are we Georgie without your precious husband defending you. It's a shame he's not here really! Would of much preferred to show him that he's messed with the wrong person." Jamie was drunk again. He was so much more aggressive than I remember but to be fair I tried with every part of me to erase Jamie from my memories as best as I could. "You wouldn't dare touching him! He's worth a billion of you. You don't even make the dirt on the bottom of his shoe. The baby got lucky with a dad like you!" I knew it was wrong to say that and under no circumstances is my dead baby a weapon for anybody to use but it was just honestly what I thought. I couldn't ever imagine my child having a dad like Jamie. He threw a punch which knocked me to the ground. I began to back away into the kitchen. "Your disgusting! Your not worth enough to carry a child! I honestly pity your husband so so much. Your not worth of the breath you hold!" He kept hitting me repeatedly until I gave up fighting him and fell to the cold kitchen floor. He had lost control. I woke up to feel blood on my head but couldn't see Jamie. I tried with everything I had to get up but I couldn't I felt dizzy and fell back to the ground.
