Part 3- Junk Food, Horses and Sudoku Failures

 I'm so hungry right now, I could eat a horse!! Except that I am a vegetarian. Let's try that again. I'm so hungry right now, I could eat a lentil burger the size of a horse!! Except that I hate lentils. I give up!!

I find a packet of chips and start eating them. I would usually eat something more filling and nutritious, but I don't want to eat something from the fridge that has gone off from not being kept cold. I finish the pack and then go find something else.

I remember that I still have food left over from my party 2 weeks ago. I find some wafers, lolly snakes and lollipops. Not the healthiest option, but health is the least of my concerns right now. 10 minutes, and 5 wafers later, I decide to stop eating and find something else to do. It's now 6:00, only half an hour till Mum's alarm goes off.

I go searching all over the house for something to do. Nothing to do in my room... or mum's room... or the study... or the kitchen, or the dining room... or the bathroom. The living room is my only hope. I search all the drawers and eventually find a sudoku book.

Sudoku is not my strength, but I give it a shot. I read the rules. Every number must be in every row, column and box. Sounds simple.

It's really not. You often figure one answer out and then realise it doesn't work. It's seriously one of the most irritating things I have ever done. After 15 minutes of trying, and only solving one row, I give up. I need to find something less agitating to do.

Instead, I decide to read a book. I pick up a book and try to interest myself. The book makes no sense. It is about a creature found in a garage who is like a bird or an angel, a boy, and a really obnoxious girl. We had to read it for class, but because of the flood warnings, we never got to cover it. Lucky!!!!

By this time, it is 6:20. Ten minutes until Mum wakes up!! I do the dishes, make my bed and tidy up the mess I have made to fill in the time. She will be up any minute now!!!!
