"What if I told you that I just don't give a shit?" Luke and Calum were talking amongst themselves about God knows what, I think we all try and ignore it.

"Do you guys want any cookies?" Ashton asked, bringing out a ziplock bag full of cookies. "My mommy made them."

"Yeah, just as long as you never say 'mommy' again," Michael said as he picked out a chocolate chip cookie.

Ashton rolled his eyes at Michael, "not my fault my mother and I have a good relationship."

"Bro, my mom and I have a good relationship but we're like, seventeen year old guys it's weird to call our moms 'mommy'," Michael retorted, resting his head in his hand.

"Why the hell are we friends with them?" Hannah whispered in my ear.

I laughed and shruged, I do question that at times.

"Hey, Cal, isn't it weird to call your mom 'mommy'?" The blue haired boy asked, distracting Calum from him and Luke's conversation.

"Yes."

"No."

We all looked at Luke, of course he disagreed. Luke Hemmings is the biggest moma's boy in the world and he's not ashamed to admit it.

"I call my mom 'mommy' all the time," the blond shrugged.

"Thank you, Luke," Ashton gave him a high five, earning eye rolls from the rest of us.

"Hey," Luke cleared his throat, "do you guys wanna come to the lake house this weekend? Because of the three day weekend my family wants to go."

Luke's family owned a beautiful lake house an hour or two away from Sydney, I've been there countless times with the Hemmings, but never with the Hemmings and all of Luke's friends.

He continued, "my family is going up this weekend and said I could bring you guys."

"Is there gonna be enough room? For like, all of us plus your family?" Hannah asked.

Luke nodded, "there's a lot of space, and I think Ben is only coming for a day."

"Will Jack be there?" I questioned, a few confused looks sent my way from my friends.

"Yes," Luke playfully rolled his eyes. "So, who's coming?"

"Wait isn't it going to be a bit cold? It's the middle of January," Ashton added.

"I mean yeah a little," Luke shrugged. "But it's not like we have to swim, there's other stuff to do up there."

After some convincing on both Luke and I's part that it would still be fun despite the chilled weather, everybody agreed that they would be able to go this upcoming weekend, I can't decide if I'm absolutely terrified to spend a whole three days with the boys, or if I'm excited. Maybe I'm a mixture of both, I'll always have Hannah.

"How many tickles does it take to take an octopus to laugh?"

"Ten-tickles Michael," I began the code to open my locker. "You've told me this one at least four times."

"What? When? I never tell you jokes," he furrowed his eyebrows, leaning up against the lockers next to mine.

"You tell me jokes all the time because I'm the only one that doesn't yell at you when you do," I laughed.

Michael thought for a second, "man, I guess you're right."

"I know I am."

"Oh! Do you have my book?" Michael asked me. I had to think for a second before reaching into my backpack to return his Columbine copy. I think I misplaced my book in my car or somewhere again. I swear I just subconsciously forget it places so I have an excuse to not read it later. Michael let me borrow his a period before so I had it for class and I then could speed read chapter two.
