The days leading up to Saturday went as they normally would any other school week. I picked up Luke, sat through six hours of my brain turning into mush, then drove Luke home. Although, on Tuesday when Liam and I had that unusual conversation, and when I wrote back anonymous, when I came to class Wednesday, they wrote back.
Wednesday, January 10th, Anonymous:
It's not really that much of an issue, I was just bored and thought it'd be funny.
Me:
I get it, watching miss m sleep isn't that much fun. Your little note being funny though? That's a stretch.Thursday, January 11th,
Anonymous:
I'm a pretty funny guy actually. Are you a guy? Please tell me you're not a guy.
Me:
I'm a girl. Thought it was pretty obvious considering I dot my i's with flowers, Yeah having this class the last period of the day is that boring.Friday, January 12th
Anonymous:
Yeah I figured. But you never know, one of my guy friends dot their i's with hearts sometimes
Me:
Hey all of my guy friends wear skinny jeans. Can't get anymore "masculine" than that right?I have absolutely zero idea as to who this is, but I do enjoy talking, well writing to them nevertheless. I was almost giddy to get back to school on Tuesday to see what they responded with. Anonymous and I have just been leaving responses beneath the untouched textbook that sat in the basket beneath the chair. It seemed to be a pretty good system so far.
I was waiting for Ashton to text me that he was outside. For once I wasn't the one having to drive, Ashton had actually volunteered to drive and pick up Michael, Hannah, Calum and I. Luke was luckily going with his family, so now we wouldn't have a seat war in Ashton's Jeep.
"Promise me you'll be safe?" My mom and I were stood in my doorway as Ashton patiently waited outside.
"Yes mom," I smiled, gripping my bag. "His whole family is going anyways."
"I know," she sighed. "Okay, your friends are waiting I'll let you go."
"Bye mom," I smiled before making my way to the Jeep, throwing my bag in the trunk before hosting myself into the backseat next to Calum.
"Hey bitch!" Hannah cried, turning around in the front seat as if she hasn't seen me in months.
"Hi Hannah."
"We're going to go pick up Mikey and then heading to Luke's," Ashton said, glancing at me in his rear view mirror.
"Like Luke's Sydney house or..." I began.
"Nah, as in the lake house," Ashton finished.
"You know how to get there, mate?" Calum asked from beside me.
"Uh, yeah! Yeah, Luke texted me the address," he fumbled for his phone in his pocket whilst keeping an eye on the road.
I eventually was smushed in the middle between Calum and Michael, Ashton was playing his music, and Hannah was trying to take photos of herself. Keyword; trying.
"Michael! Fucking stop!" Hannah whined deleting the photo of her smiling with Michael's middle finger in the background as well as the top of my bun.
"I'm sorry, just making you mad is so fun," he smiled.
"Preach!" Calum yelled.
"Stop saying that, Cal," Ashton shook his head, glancing down at his mobile to make sure he was going the correct way.
I laughed at my friends, uncomfortably shifting my long legs that were cramping due to the small seat I was stuck in. I didn't totally mind it though, it's not like any of the boys could fit. Sometimes you have to take on for the team, and that was usually me.
