Today I watched As the sun rose over the horizon In all it's blazing glory Covering the earth in it's honey glow Beams of warm light Stretching it's long arms To place soft kisses on my skin And to welcome me Into the new day
I can't find my own light Or my own warmth So thank you for lending me Some of yours, old friend
