On the outside it's all smiles
So prim and proper
The perfect family
But don't be jealous
Because once they're behind closed doors
Those smiles turn to frowns
Their perfect hair and clothes
May cover over the scrapes and bruises
But it will never hide the ugly screaming
The bitter crying and the slammed doors
That family may glitter
But they are anything but gold
