It's 1 p.m
But I feel the same
Sadness that I do
At 1 a.m
I thought that
The brightness of day
Could scare away the monsters
I thought if I wasn't alone
That it would be alright
But it seems just as dark
And I feel just as alone
As when I'm lying in bed
Crying in my pillow
Praying for daylight
