Chapter 11: Brighter Days

Emily's POV

I woke up still laying on the couch snuggled up to Jinxx. He was warm and comfortable. I didn't want to move.

I snuggled closer to him, making him wake up and groan. He wrapped his arm around my waist and smiled at me.

"Good morning sunshine," he mumbled. I giggled and smiled up at him.

"Good morning," I giggled. I sat up and stretched my legs out. "I'm hungry."

"What do you want," he asked, sitting up.

"Pancakes," I gasped. He laughed as he made his way to the kitchen. I followed him and smiled as I wrapped my arms around his waist.

"Go sit at the table," he chuckled. "Your pancakes will be done soon." I hugged him tightly before running to the table.

He soon joined me after he finished making the pancakes. He sat next to me and smiled as I grabbed 3 pancakes for myself.

"I'm hungry," I whined, making him chuckle.

"Then eat your pancakes," he laughed. I smiled then started to scarf down my pancakes. Just then, the guys came downstairs. They looked at me then smiled.

Jinxx's POV

The guys came downstairs just as Emily scarfed down her three pancakes. They all smiled at her.

"She can eat," Andy joked. She giggled as she continued eating.

The guys all sat around the table and grabbed some pancakes for themselves.

"So I was thinking maybe we can go to the mall today," I told Emily. "Just you and me."

"That sounds fun," she smiled. "Can we go to Hot Topic?"

"Of course," I laughed. She smiled at me before standing up and walking to the living room. I followed her and sat down next to her in the couch.

I wrapped my arm around her shoulder as she cuddled close to me. I heard the guys laughing so I gave them all the finger.

"Maybe later," Ashley laughed. I couldn't help it. I had to laugh as well. Emily smiled before grabbing her jacket and we left for the mall.
