Jinxx's POV

I could see the pain and anguish on Emily's face. I didn't want to see her like this. It broke my heart.

I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her close. We were going to find Mia. Even if it killed me.

~three hours later~

I had convinced the guys to help me search for Mia. At first, they thought I was crazy but then they agreed to help.

"Hey Jinxx?" Andy called to me. I turned towards him. "Usually, a kidnapper would hide a child where nobody would think to look," he told me. "With that said, she could be underground..."

My eyes widened. Could it be possible? Was Mia really underground? I had to know for sure. I looked at Andy and clenched my fists. "I think I know a place she might be."

We all filed into the car and wasted no time. We drove straight to my friend Luke's house and ran inside. "LUKE!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. Luke came barreling out of his kitchen and stopped in front of me.

"What?!" he questioned. A sense of fear spread throughout his pallid face.

"Remember that place where I found you when we were kids?!" I nearly cried as I questioned him. Luke nodded hesitantly. "We need to go there.."

Luke stared at me with a frightened expression. I almost believed he wouldnt decide to help us. Then a slight twitch appeared through his fingers.

"Fine.. Let's go before I change my mind," he sighed then ran to the car as we all trailed behind him.

Luke lead us to the place he had been held years ago. It was unlikely to find Mia there yet it was still possible. We could only hope she was still alive.

We pulled up to the strange entrance to a building buried beneath us. I clenched my fists then forced open the gate. One by one, we ran inside in search for Mia.

Andy's POV

Jinxx seemed almost obsessed with finding Mia. I couldn't blame him. He always loved kids.

Inside the building, it was almost designed as a maze. We decided to split into different directions in order to find the young girl. Hours went by as we searched for her non stop. My hope is finding her was running thin.

There was a soft cry the reached my ears as I rounded a corner on one of the lower floors. I slowed my paced and searched my surroundings. All I could see were books upon books. This must have been the buldings library at a point in time.

I searched each narrow aisle between the book cases. Then I noticed a small, petite young girl hiding within the shelves. I carefully approached her.

"Excuse me?" I whispered softly. A sharp gasp escaped her lips as she hid deeper within the shelves. "It's ok. I'm here to help you.." The young girl cried silently and she held her knees tightly against her chest.

"Help," she wispered hesitantly. I nodded as I offered my hand.

"My name is Andy," I greeted. Slowly, she took my hand as I helped her to her feet.

"Mia..." she replied. I stared at her them smiled with great pleasure.

"Your mother will be happy to see you again Mia," I chuckled. She looked up at me with a surprised look on her face. Smiling, I cradled her in my arms as I proceeded to walk back to the entrance.

Mia buried her face in my Misfits tshirt and fell asleep almost instantly. I smiled as Jinxx's worried face came into view. He noticed Mia in my arms and tears began to drain from his eyes.

"Is that.." Jinxx whispered. I nodded and smiled as I held her firmly against me.

"Mia," I chuckled. "It's Mia."

***I know I said that her mom would be happy to see her. And I did that on purpose. Mia doesnt recognize Andy yet ;) I know what I'm doing. I have a plan***
