Nobody weird like me

Part 2

I was so exhausted  and the sunrays really made me sleepy. I closed my eyes for a second, while leaning against the backrest of the bench, throwing my head back. I was nodded off,for a few seconds, when the bus finally arrived. It really bothers me that buses in LA are never on time, but I was too overtired, to complain about that.
Thank god there weren't much people on the bus, so I easily find a seat. I only had to drive ten minutes, till my place. Finally I got out of the bus and while walking I was searching for my keys. My apartment was above a Junk store in West Hollywood, pretty much near Sunset.
As I entered my apartment , I threw my backpack and my leather jacket onto my couch then decided to check my answering machine, while undressing. When I heard a screaming on my first message it really scared me to death. My heart nearly dropped down to my pants.
"Oh my goodness Mary, I can't believe it, the audition was fantastic, I mean I rocked the shit out and oh holy, I can't even speak properly right now..."
I chuckled when I listened to her. Gosh Ivy, come to the point I thought to myself, when I put my oversized Jimi Hendrix T-shirt on.
"SAY HELLO TO THE NEW BASSPLAYER OF HOLE,BABY!"
As I heard that I rushed over to the phone, to call her back. I nearly stumbled over my shit. My hands were shaking and my heart raced like hell. I waited but she didn't answer, okay she was probably with her new band mates, i thought. I hanged up and decided to finally sleep a bit, cause I needed to be fit for the show tonight. As I closed my curtains and collapsed into bed, I fell asleep within two seconds.
In my half-sleep, I heard someone banging at my door, like crazy. I thought I would just dream that, so I continued sleeping. But it didn't stop and then I heard a voice yelling.
"God damn Mary, I know you are in there, move your sweet ass out of your bed and open the door!"
I jumped out of my bed as I recognized her voice. This can be just a dream, how the hell can she even...
As I opened the door, she leaped for joy and hugged me so tight, I couldn't even breathe.
"Mary!" she screamed
I couldn't believe it, it seemed like a dream to me.
"What are you doing here, girl? I thought you would stay in Seattle!" I asked her, still hugging her.
"I need to celebrate my triumph and I thought it's impossible to do that without my crazy LA girl, so here I am!" she said with the biggest smile, I haven't seen before.
"My god, you are such a crazy girl, but that's what I love about you!" I said, pinching her cheek.
She walked in and looked around. Then she starting giggling.
" Girl you really live a typical LA life here!"
"What do you mean with that? I asked out of the kitchen. Coming back with two cans of coke. I handed her the one. Here you go sweetie!"
"You know what I mean, look at that place, It looks like you had some "Led Zeppelin style party going on in here!" she said while she kept up an empty Jim Beam bottle up.
I looked over to her and smirked.
"Okay, you caught me mum!" I said in a sarcastic way.
Ivy grabbed for the coke, like it was candy and jumped on the couch. I walked over to open my curtains when she asked me
"So, tell me what are you up to, tonight? Ivy asked, as sipping her coke.
" Pete forced me to work tonight at the club!" I answered when I crawled over to the couch, where Ivy was sitting.
Ivy looked shattered at me.
"Noooo!" she said "Are you serious? He is such a jerk,really. And what are you supposed to do this time?"
"There is this LA sensation band, called the Red Hot Chili Peppers and I am supposed to..."
She nearly swallowed from the coke and coughed. Her eyes wide open,staring at me.
"Wait a minute, what did you say, the Chili's are in LA?" she said, looking at me,now standing on the couch.
"Uhm yeah, why? Have you heard of them?"
She started laughing at me.
"Are you kidding me? They are the hottest band at the moment. Oh my god I can't believe you never heard of them! Geez you are so lucky that you have the chance to see them tonight, so sorry I interrupted you, what did you want to say?!"
I couldn't help myself,but smiling. She was so cute,when she was so excited about something.
"Anyway,Pete asked me to do them any favour they want!" i said, as i recognized,how Ivy lifted her on eyebrow up.
"Any favour they want?" she asked,with a dirty look on her face.
I rolled my eyes
"Of course not what you understood now,with your dirty mind!" i said smirking. "I meant things like getting them drinks,food and other stuff!"
She couldn't hold her laughter anymore,also getting red all over her face.
"Yeah right!" she said,now yelling with laughter.
I couldn't resist her infectious laugh.
She then,collapsed on my couch and tried to breath calmly.Because of her asthma,she had to be careful. I wanted to join her on the couch,when i looked at my watch.Shit it already was 5 o'clock.
"Oh shit, i have to shower and get ready,Pete expect me at 7!"o said walking over to the bathroom,while taking off my shirt.
"You know,I was thinking uhm you could join me tonight.I really could need some support and who knows it'll be fun." i shouted,during turning on the shower.At first i heard nothing and then she jumped up and ran towards my bathroom door.
"Oh my god,are you serious? That would be perfect. Holy, i think i am going to pass out,out of too much excitement!"she said,while jumping up and down.Doing one of her silly little dances.I couldn't see her,but I know her now, for so long,so I didn't need to see excactly what she was doing.I instantly knew it. I laughed so hard,as i was standing under the shower.
"Ivy,please be careful,you know your asthma.Calm down honey and sit down.I don't want to loose you." i yelled,hoping that she heard me.
