Mary's P.O.V

We now sat down in a booth, and were looking through the menu, I was starving to be honest. I decided to go for a double cheeseburger and fries. Ivy had a hard time deciding "What are you drinking Mary?" she asked, hiding behind the menu cart. "I think I'll go for a draft beer!" I said, which made her laugh "You're such a man!" she said. I rolled my eyes "What are you taking?" I asked her. "I think I'll take the chili cheese nachos and a Mojito" she said. I always found it funny how different we were, yet so compatible. Ivy definitely was the girly one, with her long black curly hair, wearing dresses, cute tops and mini jeans skirts, little lolita-ish I would say. While I with my blonde pixie, band t-shirts and jeans, boots and leather jacket, a drinker and smoker. While we were waiting for the food she said "Damn, too bad I didn't see you in that dress, all styled up for your Tony!" teasing me. I chuckled, reminded now by that beautiful night "Well, I also wore lipstick!" I said, her eyes now wide open "Shut up, are you serious?" she said laughing, holding her hand against my forehead now "What happened to you? Are you okay?" she continued giggling. "Stop it will ya?!" I answered, slapping her hand away. She couldn't stop laughing at me, thank god our drinks and food arrived. We clinked our glasses now "Cheers Mary, here's to you and Anthony!" she said, winking. Both of us eating in total silence, cause we were starving. After a while I ordered some shots and Ivy started telling me about her two days with John, but I had the feeling she was hiding something. "We need a couple more shots!" I said, as she looked at me "Mary, are you trying to get me drunk?" she asked, I winked at her "Maybe!" I said. Drunk Ivy was more likely to tell me the things she was hiding, also she was hella cute fan girling about John. I reached a pretty good level of drunk state as well now and while I was talking about Anthony with Ivy, it turned me on, the thought of him. I so wanted to hear his voice now, I didn't notice that I was distant for a while when Ivy snapped her fingers at me "Mary?" she asked. "Yeah? uh what?" I asked baffled, she giggled "Was there someone deep in thought with sexy Tony?" she asked teasing. "Uh nooo!" I said, trying to hide it but she caught me re-handed. "Yes you areeee, I can see it Mary, stop hiding it!" she said. "Alright MUM !" I said rolling my eyes. "Its okay, we can head home Mary, if you're waiting for the call!" she said, searching for the waitress.We paid and went out to catch the bus back, the thought of hearing Tony's voice again, made feel all warm and fuzzy. As we entered my apartment I saw the red light blinking, I never ran quicker towards my answering machine then now. Ivy all shaking head and laughing at me "Look at you!" she said.

"Hey babe, I tried to call you but you weren't at home, I hope you're not roaming the streets without me (Laughing) anyways, we arrived in New York now, at our hotel. I'm sharing a room with John again (John saying something in the background like "Yeah I'm happy about that too, Swan) both laughing now. Call me back, when you listen to it ok?

Ivy throwing herself on the bed now, rolling around like crazy "Mary and Tony sitting on a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G" she now was singing. I threw a pillow after her, while about to call Tony back when I saw I had a second message.

"How's my girlfriend doing? Do you miss me already? I know you gave me your Seattle number, but I thought uh since you're still at Mary's I couldn't wait to call you already. Tony now in the background ( Greenie is so in love, first thing he wanted to do is call you Ivy!) laughing. What ever uh don't mind Swan, just uh wanted to check on you, okay uh

See I didn't forget about you!"

My jaw dropped now, looking at Ivy who ashamed buried her head in my pillows "Girlfriend?" I said, shocked. She didn't answer me, still hiding "Since when? Why didn't you tell me?"I asked her, when she finally looked up, her face all red from blushing. "It uh happened so quickly, I was afraid to tell you, because you uh warned me about him!" I sat down next to her on the bed "What do you mean it happened so quickly?" I asked her, trying not to sound too judgmental. She then told me the story which she was hidden from me, how John bought her records with the attend of Ivy not forgetting him. Then Toni, John's ex girlfriend showing up and threatening Ivy and how John then dropped the bombshell of telling her about the codex. I somehow disappointed "Ivy, you could have told me about this, especially the threatening part!" I said. As she looked onto the sheets, her head lowered "I know Mary but uh I didn't want to bother you with that and I knew you wouldn't be pleased about John!" she confessed. I had to chuckle though "Oh Ivy, its your life you know. I'm not trying to be your mom, I'm just concerned as a friend about you, ok?" I said as she nodded. "Yeah I know Mary, you just want my best!" I leaned over to hug her tight "Never think again about how I could be bothered Ivy, ok?" i said, as she giggled "I won't! Thank you Mary" she whispered. I now looked at her "Fine! is there anything else you want to tell me?" I asked her. She just shakes her head "No, no I'm fine now! Now get back on the phone with Anthony, he's waiting!" she said, now with a big grin on her face. "Alright!" I said, as I went over to the phone, dialing the number. It ringed for a few times, when he picked it up, the sound of his voice instantly made me smile like an idiot.

A: Hey babe! so nice to finally hear your voice again!

M: Dito, sorry for the delay though.

A: I will accept your apology this time (laughing), so where were you?

M: I went with Ivy to the Rainbow Bar and Grill, for some food and drinks.

A: So girls night huh? (again laughing)

M: Yeah sure, and now we will put on sexy PJs and have a pillow fight.

A: (laughing out loud) Oh Mary, I already miss your attitude. Sooo uh are you drunk now? (giggling)

M: Maybe a bit tipsy, why? Are you Tony?

A: No, I'm just a little bit stoned now. John and I smoked some pot in our hotel room.

M: Ohh, to be honest I'd like that now.

A: (chuckling) Yeah, we could be stoned together babe (John mumbling in the back ground "Oh so I'm not enough for you huh Swan?" both laughing now)

M: Naked?

A: (sighing) Oh babe, of course! Now you animated my inner cinema. The things I would do to you now! ( John now laughing in the background "Alriiight enough Swan" he said, now taking the phone away from Tony) Hey Mary!

M: (i had to laugh so hard) Yeah John?

J: I know, you wanna dirty talk to Swan now, but can you give me Ivy?

M: Sure John (Anthony then taking the phone again "Mary?")

M: Yes?

A: Good night babe, have some dirty dreams about me! I'll call you tomorrow again ok?

M: Good night Tony, sleep tight!

A: I love you babe

M: I love you too,Tony!

My heart now pounding like crazy, hearing Tonys voice made me long for him so much. I handed the phone to Ivy teasing her "Your boyfriend wants to talk to you!" She just rolled her eyes and gave me a mocking grin."Thanks Marybear!"
