I looked at him. He was about my height, wearing his long hair in a ponytail with a Lakers cap on. Butthole Surfers Shirt, black loose shorts and Nike Air's. To be honest I really dig his style.
"Let me take the beer case for ya!" he said as he was about to grab it.
"Thank you but you don't need to ,instead you could open the door!" I said, winking at him.
"Right!" he answered, opening the door for me and smirking at me. "I'm Anthony, by the way. You can call me Tony, if you want!"
"Thanks man, nice to meet you Tony" i said as I walked into the dressing room, putting the beer case down. "I'm Mary, I am sure Pete told you about me!"
"Well, he told us about a chick, but I didn't expect, that much of a hot punk rock mamma!" he said, trying to tease me with his smile.
"Yeah right, how do I know that you don't tell this to every girl, you meet!" I said, punching and nudging him playfully.
He looked astonished at me and couldn't help laughing. I know that most guys can't deal with my attitude, but I really can't be one of those girly girls. I mean not that I'm not attracted to guys, but I really prefer the part of the buddy.
Meanwhile Ivy was sitting on the sofa, talking with John. I looked over to them and it seemed that they really liked each other. Flea spotted Anthony.
"Dude, why so late? What or should I say who detained you?"
"I had a rough fight with Ione again, sorry man!"
Flea just shook his head in disbelief and gave him a slap on the back.
Ivy's POV
"So how long do you play bass, Ivy?" John asked me, while lighting up his cigarette, looking me straight into the eyes. I have to admit it made me feel a bit uncomfortable, but it was okay.
"Uhm, for about four years now!" i answered, running my fingers through my hair.
"Show me!" he said.
"Sorry what?" I asked, cause I thought I didn't hear right.
He stood up, still with the cigarette in his mouth corner and walked over to Flea's bass. Then he came back and handed it to me. I at first couldn't believe it, I admired Flea so much and now I got the chance, to play his bass. It seemed so unreal.
"Go for it Ivy!" John forced me
"Right....what should I play, I don't know. I feel a bit insecure!"
My hands were shaking as I was holding the bass.
"Whatever you want, girl!" he said.
I noticed his look of expectancy. All of a sudden I felt like playing "Stone Cold Bush"
As I started blasting the bass lines away, Flea and Anthony turned around and watched me surprised and with their jaws falling to the ground. John immediately grabbed his guitar and joined me. Flea was like holy fuck, that girl can slap bass. He came up to me, after I finished.
"Girl I got to tell you, Hole really should feel blessed to have you as their bass player!"
I blushed at his comment.
"My god, to get this comment from the master of bass, I really feel blessed, thank you so much Flea!"
I couldn't help myself but hug him.
