Nanami had left the Straw Hat Crew shortly after Ace had left them, of course, the others tried to stop her but couldn't change her mind. Nanami had travled nonstop only making one stop when she came upon a Phoneglyph hidden under the sand. It was still dark out when she arrived at a casino called Rain Dinners, Crocodile headquarters. Nanami got a room in a hotel at the edge of the city.

She quickly showered and dressed before making her way towards the casino. Nanami could tell the number agents and their partners that Vivi warned her about were underground in a room, waiting on their boss. She chuckled.

'Crocodile always did like to make a grand enterance.' Nanami thought, taking a seat at a game. It was over an hour later when she noticed that a woman had arrived in the underground room with the number agents and their partners. Nanami stood on her feet making her way as she cashed her winnings before heading down to the room where a meeting was being held.

She had walked through the door as to not make a sound, crocodile had dismissed his subordinates, she noticed a cape flouting in the water in front of a window.

"Oh me, oh my, it's been a long time hasn't?" Nanami questioned from the top of the stairs. They turned to see a new face of a woman they knew that belonged to a woman they believed to be dead.

"I-I-I-It's a Vice Admiral from the Navy!!" Shirked a man in a weird outfit.

"Not just any Vice Admiral, it's Nanami from the New World! She's supposed to be dead!" A woman dressed in black said, her face pale. Crocodile chuckled, a smirk on his face.

"It has been awhile, brat." Nanami pouted as she walked down the steps.  Nico Robin eyes widen seeing the young woman who passed her.

'H-how can this be?!'

"What they said is true. You are alive." Crocodile spoke, exhaling a cloud of smoke. Nanami smirked as she sat on the edge of the table facing the Warlord.

"Awe, did you think I died? You missed me, huh, Crocodile." She snickered seeing the menacing glint in his eyes as he stared her down. She ran her fingers lightly down his clothed chest.

"You don't scare me, Croc. I'm here on business, you see." Crocodile raised an eyebrow.

"Is that so?"

"Yes. I was attacked but a group by the name of Baroque Works which just so happens to be working under you." She eyes darkens, her hand shot into his chest surprising the Warlord, the others stood shocked seeing the formal Vice Admiral's hand in their bosses chest.

"D-damn y-you!!" Crocodile cursed glaring at the woman in front of him. Blood trickled down the cornor of his mouth.

"Tut-tut-tut, I would advise you not to speak, just listen. Your Billions hunted me, attacked me, poisoned me. Now I would like to know if you sent them after me." She narrowed her eyes.

"If you did, you won't like the outcome of the situation at hand. Your life depends on it, literally. Best not to lie, either." She squeezed his heart enough to make the Warlord cough blood.

"Y-y-you damn brat! Ugh!" He coughed more blood. Nanami just stared at him, waiting for an answer.

"N-no. I d-did not send them a-after you..." Crocodile said through gritted teeth. Nanami tilted her head before removing her hand, she quickly healed the injury she made.

"You now owe me Crocodile." Nanami said, removing herself from the table passing the agents. Nanami and Robin locked eyes, a shock course through their bodies.

"I saved your life. I expect a favor in the future." She chuckled looking away from Robin heading up the stairs.

"Straw Hat and his crew are very intresting." She walked through the door again, leaving an angry Crocodile with his frighten and scared subordinates.

Time Skip

It was early morning the next day. Nanami laid on a cozy bed as she slept. Nico Robin had found the young Pirate Lord after the meeting she had with Crocodile. Finding the white haired woman was not as easy as it would seem, seeing as Robin had to use her Devil Fruit just to find her.

Now, Robin was ordered to eliminate the Pirate Lord but she is not naive. She knew what would happen if she continued on with her mission, not only that, but the young woman sleeping in front of her reminded her of her mother. The eye color is the same, Nanami's skin tone was slightly lighter than her own, and her long white hair had brought back memories of her mother.

"You have questions for me." Nanami stated, Robin watched the pirate who sat up stretching her arms above her head.

"Did you need something from me, Nico Robin?"

"Who are you?"

"You know the answer to that question."

"Only by "She-Devil" Nanami of the New World. Who is the real you?" Robin asked. Nanami let out a sigh.

"Sparrow D. Nanami, a Pirate Lord of the Pirate Brethren."

"D? Do you know the meaning of the initial?" Nanami shrugs.

"I have an idea but not really sure."

"I see. Sparrow D. James is your father, correct?" Nanami nods her head.

"Who is your mother?" Robin asked. Nanami frowned.

"My mother? She's died months after I was born, don't really know anything but her name and what she looked like. She was an Admiral of the Navy."

"Her name."

"Nico... Nico Nagisa." Robin's eyes widen in shock. A faint memory of a woman with short black hair and blue eyes, kneeling in front of her dressed in a white uniform with a smile.

"When will you be back, Nagisa?" A child Robin asked the adult who kneeled in front of her.

"I'll back soon, Robin. I'll make sure to visit when I can, and I'll bring gifts for you." Nagisa laughed, ruffling Robin's hair.

"You may look similar to me but you remind me of your mother. She's a great and wonderful woman my big sister. I'm sure she'll come back to us, so just wait for the both of us!" Nagisa stood up patting her niece on the head heading to a ship belonging to the Marines.

"Nice memory, huh? She visited you a couple times after that."

"She stopped coming. I found out she died years after Ohara was destroyed with a Buster Call." Robin spoke quietly.

"She fell in love with my father. She had me months before she died, you can see why she was killed." Nanami said, Robin let out a sigh.

"An Admiral of the Navy falling in love with a Pirate Lord... I'm surprised."

"That my mom hid it so well? Yeah. Me too. James said he loved my mother dearly that he would die for her." Nanami smiled.

"He said I looked like your mother Olivia.

"You do. So much like her." Robin smiled. They talked a bit longer before Robin had to leave to start on the opperation Utopia. Not only that but Luffy and the others were close by. Nanami let out a laugh.

"Oh, this is gonna be good." Nanami sat on the balcony as she watch Luffy and Usopp run around screaming for water. Nanami eyes became void before letting out a chuckle.

"Oh, dear. Looks like the Straw Hat crew will cause trouble. Tomorrow will be the day, I'm sure." Zoro froze in place. He felt a like someone was watching him and his crew, Turing around he looked upwards seeing he had stopped near an Inn, he noticed a young woman staring down at him from the balcony. Long brunette hair was up in a bun, stray hairs fell framing her face. But what caught his attention was her eyes. Those familiar ocean eyes.

"Nanami?" The woman chuckled, placing her finger to her lips.

"Shh." She gave him a wink before walking back into the room leaving Zoro standing there in shock.
