Chapter 3: The Boy From My Dream

~Yuki~

Me and Hopper sat and talked for what seemed like hours. Sadly, hunger interrupted us. "Yuki, I'm hungry." Hopper said. I smiled and stood up, picking him up and holding him against my chest. We walked for a while till I found a berry bush. It was raspberries! I put Hopper on the ground and walked over to the bush, Hopper following.

He plucked one berry at a time and nibbled on them, while I stuffed my face. I've never tasted anything so good and never eaten so much. I've only ever seen raspberries in books before. Then my eyes lit up. I grabbed two huge leaves and plucked a ton of berries.

I sat a leaf with berries in front of Hopper and sat across from him, eating berries off of my leaf. Red sticky juices covered my lips, cheeks, and hands. Hopper only had the juices covering his paws and mouth. I laughed a little. A ruffle in the woods caught us off guard. Then I heard a voice. "I don't know Happy, but if I don't find food soon, I'm gonna die." My eyes widened. Were they okay?

I crawled over to a bush to hear better. Hopper quietly hopped into my lap. "Oh Natsu, you'll survive. I promise." Then the sound was closer. I hadn't realized that they were so close that they fell through the bush and on top of me and Hopper. I rubbed my head in pain. "Ow!"

I looked up to see a salmon haired boy and a blue cat. Wait! That was the boy from my dream. I froze. "You......." He looked at me in confusion. "Who?" He did the grin that I remembered so well. My heart skipped a beat when I remembered how he kissed me. "You're the boy from my dream." The cat and Hopper watched us in confusion.

"My name is Natsu Dragneel." I smiled. "My name is Yuki Heathero. That's Hopper." I pointed to Hopper and his nose twitched. He raised his paw to wave. "Hi." Natsu and the cat's eyes widened. "He can talk!?" They yelled at the same time. I shrugged. "It's not really a shocker knowing that that cat can talk."

The cat grinned. "My name is Happy-" he was cut off by Natsu running over to the bush and basically swallowing it whole. I glared at him. "That was my lunch!" "Oh sorry." He did his toothy grin. "Wait! You have pink hair."

I smiled. "And you have salmon." I said. He nodded. "I love your hair. It's a good color for you. I won't ever forget you." I blushed a little as he said that. He looked at Happy who was now flying. "I think she should come to Fairy Tail." My brows furrowed. "What's Fairy Tail?" Natsu looked at me. "It's a guild. Where wizards go to get jobs and create a family of friends." I nodded. "I use God Slaying Magic." Natsu's smile turned into a huge grin.

"I'm a Fire Dragon Slayer." I smiled bright. "Alright. I'll come." Hopper hopped back into my grip. "Natsu......remember the two hour train ride we have to take?" Happy said with worry. Natsu started groaning. "What's wrong?" I asked.

"Natsu's got motion sickness." Happy said. I heaved a sigh. As we walked to a train station, I saw everything, and it was amazing. I never saw anything except for the village in my entire life. "So, where do you come from and why do you look poor?" Natsu asked. "That's kinda rude Natsu." Happy deadpanned.

I smiled. "Have you heard of that burned down village? Well, I used to work there as a maid. And I'm an orphan, I lived in a barn with two horses and never went to school or worn shoes. Everyone fed me scraps of food they never finished. I've also never taken a bath before." Happy looked like he was gonna cry.

Natsu looked super mad. "Well, they deserved to burn then. That's no way to treat anyone." He growled. A tear slid down my cheek. And then I started to cry. I put my face in my hands and Hopper dropped to the ground. My body shook as I cried. Then I felt hands grab mine. I looked to see Natsu with a sad look on his face.

"You don't need to cry. I'll never let anyone do that to you again." I nodded as tears still fell. "Yeah. You're right." But I still cried. The burning people and flesh flashed in my mind. I screamed in horror. "The......the people. The burning bodies.......noooo, Rosina!" I screamed. Natsu shook me back to reality. "Snap put of it Yuki!" I shook my head. "I'm sorry." He did his grin. "It's alright." I picked Hopper back up and we continued to walk in silence.

~Natsu~

I watched Yuki as we walked. I was actually really worried about her. She had witnessed people burn and die. And her life had been a living hell. I couldn't believe someone would treat her like that. She seemed so nice and sweet yet she was treated so badly. I was actually kinda glad that she was coming to Fairy Tail with us.

She kinda reminded me of Lucy. "Natsu." Happy tapped my shoulder snapping me out of my thoughts. I shook my head. "Yeah?" "The trains here." The horrible train was here. Nooooooo. We got on and I started groaning. "Yu- Yuki. Can you *plk* knock me o- out?" She looked at me like I was crazy. "What!?" "You heard him. Just knock him out." Happy told her.

She did as she was told and knocked me out.

~Happy~

Yuki looked at Natsu worriedly. "Will he be alright?" Hopper asked. I nodded. "There's a girl named Erza who does it all the time when we go on boats or trains." Yuki nodded slowly then looked out the window.

I looked at her hair. She was special. I could just feel it. She reminded me of First Master Mavis and Lucy for some reason. It wasn't fare that her village treated her like that. I know Natsu won't let anyone treat her like that anymore. He promised Lucy that too. Ha! I know he's gonna hook up with Lucy or Yuki. It's just a given thing.

"Yuki." I flew onto her lap. She pet my back and Hopper snuggled up next to me. Then we all fell asleep.

Yay! Yuki finally met Natsu and is joining Fairy Tail.

But why does Yuki seem to like Natsu so much?
