Chapter 10: Telling Freed
~Lucy~
We got off the train and Natsu and Gray started fighting like they always do. "I can take you on ice popsicle!" "You wanna go ash for brains!" Erza stood behind them and smashed their heads together. "For the love of Mavis, stop arguing!" She let go of them. Me and Yuki laughed. Then I froze, remembering that I have to tell Freed. We walked silently back to the guild.
"What's wrong with Luce?" Natsu said breaking the silence like he always does. "She's having love problems." Gray mused. "Ooh. Who does she like?" Natsu joked. "She likes-" I slapped my palm over Gray's mouth. "Can I ever speak for myself!?" I growled. Everyone sweat dropped.
I took a deep breath. "I like Freed." I said matter of factly. Natsu stared at me with his jaw dropped to the floor. "You better not tell anyone!" Erza warned. Natsu nodded slowly. We continued to walk and I just looked at the ground. Once we got in front of Yuki's house, we stopped. "I don't feel like going back to the guild. Tell everyone I'm fine. I'm just tired." Yuki said.
I nodded and gave her a hug. She waved bye as we walked to the guild. Now Natsu looked a little sad. "What's wrong?" I asked him. He looked at me and shook his head. "Nothing." I looked at Gray and Erza and they winked. I knew what they meant. He really did like Yuki.
"I wish I had a strawberry smelling animal." Erza complained. I smiled. When we were finally at the guild, I stood there, not even moving. Natsu, Gray, and Happy wished me good luck and walked into the guild. Then there was shouting, banging, and crashing sounds. "Typical Fairy Tail." I said sadly. Erza put a hand on my shoulder. "You'll be okay. I promise. I'm going to get Freed." She called out the last part and ran into the guild. I stood in the same spot with my foot fiddling with some grass.
After a few minutes, the guild doors opened and out came Freed. He smiled.
~Freed~
Why would Lucy want to talk to me? I really had no clue. She just stared at me. My brows furrowed. I stood next to her. "So what did you want to talk about?" She looked at me and then quickly looked away. Her blonde hair moved with every move she made. She looks beautiful. Stop thinking like that. I can't think like that. She probably likes Natsu.
But I really do like her. I'm bisexual so I always followed Laxus around. And ever since Lucy came, I instantly fell head over heels for her. I just stayed with Laxus because I thought that her and Natsu were gonna get together. But I still couldn't get my head wrapped around what she wanted to talk to me about.
She fidgeted in her spot a little. She looked so cute. Then I saw a tear slide down her cheek. She looked back at me. "Freed, do you like someone?" Why the hell would she ask me that? My cheeks got warm. Yes I did. It's you Lucy. It's all you. I nodded. "Uh yeah. Why?" She smiled a little. "Well, I like someone too. Could you tell me how to tell them?" My eyes widened. I felt a little hurt. "Uh, sure. Well........if you really want to, you could kiss them and show your feelings right away. Or you could take your time and just say how you feel."
I wondered why she would ask that. Then she slowly leaned in and our lips touched. My eyes widened. So that's why she asked that. My eyes slowly shut and I intertwined my left hand with hers and my other hand went to the back of her head and gripped her hair. We seemed to kiss for all of eternity.
Then I slowly pulled away with a smile. She was smiling too. "Lucy," she looked up. "I love you....." Then I went back to kissing her. We seemed to kiss for hours until someone walked out. We quickly pulled apart to see, sadly Mira. Dammit! She began squealing. "I thought it was gonna be Laxus but this is awesome too!" She fangirled. Me and Lucy looked at eachother nervously and heard the guild doors slam open.
"Lucy and Freed are together!" "WHAT!?" We walked in holding hands. Then Laxus walked over with a sly smirk. "So you've gotten over me huh?" I nodded and hugged Lucy. She kissed my cheek. "I love you too." She whispered. I smiled. "Ha! It's Leed!" Natsu called out. I blushed at the ship name.
Me and Lucy sat at the bar. She sat on my lap. To my surprise, she wasn't that heavy. I rested my head on her shoulder. This was perfect. I had Lucy and that was all that I needed.

So this chapter isn't really about Natsu×Yuki but it's one of the ships in the story.
