Chapter 5: My New Home

~Yuki~

I followed Lucy down a sidewalk. We stood in front of a house and Hopper came hopping over. "Hey! you guys left me hangin!" I smiled and picked him up, scratching his favorite spot. "I'm sorry buddy." Lucy unlocked the door to the house and we walked in. She handed me the key.

"Welcome to your new home Yuki." I smiled big. I've never lived in a house. There was a bedroom with a bed and dresser and clothes and makeup and stuff. There was also a bathroom and kitchen and living room. I loved it. But I didn't like that Lucy had to do this for me. I hugged Lucy. "Thank you so much. But why would you do something so nice for me?"

"Because you deserve it." Lucy said with a smile. I nodded and walked into the bathroom. "I guess I'll be going then." Lucy called out and walked out of the house. "I'm taking a nap!" I heard Hopper call out. I grinned happily and grabbed a towel. I was going to take my first real bath.

I took off my dress and underwear and filled the tub. I got in the warm water and soaked for what seemed like hours until I noticed that my hands were beginning to wrinkle up like raisins. I got out and put on some new panties, a bra, and my usual pink dress I picked out today.

I was already having the most awesome day of my life. I noticed that Hopper was still sleeping and let him sleep. I went into the kitchen and raided the fridge. There was this stuff called ice cream. It was cold, creamy, and vanilla flavored. It was my new favorite treat. I ate a whole tub of it. After I was done eating the ice cream, I put my hair into two ponytails. I never was going to cut my hair. It was too pretty.

I played with a piece of my hair, unaware of anything. Then I heard a knock and looked up. "Come in!" I called out and a short blue haired girl walked in. "Hello. My name is Levy Mcgarden. I've heard that you joined the guild." She took a glimpse at my new insignia.

I smiled. "Yeah. Lucy told me that you two were best friends." Her cheeks turned red as I said that and she nodded. "It's cool to see someone else with pink hair. I've only seen Natsu with it." I nodded in agreement. "I think his is more of a salmon color though." We both laughed and accidentally woke Hopper up. He stood on his hind legs and walked over to us, rubbing his eyes. "Can you be more quiet-"

Levy snatched him up and started petting him, making him fall back to sleep. "He's so soft......" She stuffed her face in his fur. "Don't let Erza smell him." She warned. I was confused. "Why?" I said with a perplexed expression. "Because he smells like strawberry cake. Don't mess with Ezra's strawberry cake." Her face was pale now.

I slowly nodded. "O- okay." We talked for what seemed like hours until Levy stood up, gently lying Hopper on a pillow. She stretched her arms high above her head. "It's getting late. I think I'm gonna head home now." I followed her to the door and watched her walk away until I couldn't see her figure anymore.

I shut the door and fell into my soft new bed, taking in the nice clean smell of new blankets and sheets. Then the dream I had about me and Natsu flashed in my mind. I rolled over and groaned in frustration. Why the heck would I have a dream like that? I suddenly became tired and drifted off to sleep.

~Gray~

I walked into the guild with Juvia stalking me like she always does. I noticed Natsu sitting at a table looking bored out of his mind. I walked over to him with a snicker. "Oi flame brain. Why do you look so sad? You're new girlfriend not here?" I teased. He looked up, scarlet covering his cheeks. He jumped up.

"Hell no! And Yuki is NOT my girlfriend! She's just a friend!" I shook my head then nodded slowly. "Riiiiight." I joked. I looked over at Lucy to see her staring at Freed for some unknown reason. I shrugged it off. Then there was a loud crash. I looked over to see Natsu and Gajeel fighting. Yay! It wasn't me and him this time.

"Come on metal head! I can take ya!" Natsu shouted, getting into fighting stance. "Yeah right. If flame idiot can beat me, then I'm weaker than a freakin ant!" Gajeel scoffed. Everyone sweat dropped. "Alright! I've had enough! Fire Dragon's Roar!" Natsu let out a bellow and it hit Gajeel. Luckily, Erza stopped the fight before it got any worse.

Now Gajeel and Natsu were sitting on the ground with folded arms and pouting like a four year old. I felt a tap on my shoulder. "Gray- Sama," I turned around. "Yeah Juvia?" "Juvia has a bad feeling. Like something bad is going to happen soon because of Yuki- Chan." I raised a brow. "What would Yuki have to do with something bad happening? She's completely innocent."

Juvia looked down at the floor. "Juvia just has that feeling......" She mumbled. I ruffled her hair, blue strands going everywhere. "We'll be fine. I promise." She looked up at me with a bright smile. "Gray- Sama is right. Fairy Tail would defeat them." She pulled me into an unexpected embrace.

I tensed up a little. "Thank you Gray- Sama." I slowly calmed down and smiled before nodding. "You're welcome."
