While we walked hand-in-hand and talked about the stars I realized where we were going. To my favorite place throughout all of Wright County. The park. Everybody knew how much I loved the park. If you needed to talk to me or meet up with me you could always find me in the park.

When Kyle and I arrived at the park I was mesmorized. I've never been to the park at night, but you can bet I will now. The way the moonlight shines on the trees and the lake gives it this magical look.

"Close your eyes.", Kyle said. I did as I was told. I was really ecstatic of what was going to happen next. I heard some rustling behind me so I thought to myself, "I wonder what he's doing." I started jumping very excitedly.

"OK you can look now, but first I need you to calm down just a little bit.", he said while laughing softly. I took a deep breath, opened my eyes and turned around. What lay before me was beautiful. Kyle had set up a telescope so we could look at the stars while we sat and ate fruit from a bowl.

"Sweet peanuts this is the most.....", I couldn't even finish the sentence. He just chuckled and murmured something that sounded like, "Hopefully this is good enough." I didn't want to know what he meant and didn't care. I was just shocked because nobody has ever done for me before.

"This is so beautiful. This is going to be a great date.", I said with awe in my voice. I sat down on the soft, plush grass and started nibbling on a grape. "Come sit!", I told Kyle while I yanked him down beside me. He just laughed then grabbed an apple. "Man this is so beautiful. It's not as beautiful as the girl sitting beside me though.", Kyle said while looking up at the stars.

I blushed thankful that Kyle couldn't see because it was so dark. We just sat in silence for what seemed like forever until Kyle said, "I should be ashamed of myself" I just looked at him with a puzzled look on my face, "Why?", I asked. He just laughed at me. "What's so funny?", I asked bewildered.

"I'm laughing at myself for becoming desperate. Desperate enough that I asked you out.", He announced and then laughed some more. My jaw dropped. Nobody has ever said that to me before. A feeling of anger rushed into me and the next thing I know I punched him in the face so hard his head snapped back.
