Chapter 14: Hope Imprinted

The Next Day
Skylar's POV

Now we were in a part of the area that was considered no man's land so we could all train in one place.

"Again." Emmett growled at Jasper after being flown back into the dirt, again.

"Oh, come on baby, don't hurt yourself!" I called out to him making Sam and Dean laugh.

That's when Bella and Edward arrived along with the pack.

"They don't trust us enough to be in their human forms." Edward said reading their minds.

"They came, that's what matters. Will you translate?" Carlisle asked then walked out in front of us to greet the pack. "Welcome. Jasper has experience with new borns. He'll teach us how to defeat them."

"They wanna know how new borns differ from us." Edward translated.

"They're great deal is that they're stronger than us, they're human blood still lingers in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful than within our first several months of this life." Carlisle explained then turned it over to Jasper.

"Carlisle's right. That's why they're created. A new born army doesn't need thousands like a human army, and no human army can stand against them." Jasper stated. "Now the two most important things to remember are first, never let them get their arms around you, they'll crush you instantly. And second, never go for the obvious kill. They'll be expecting that. And you will lose. Emmett!"

Emmett smirked once again and made his way to the middle.

"Bet you $20 Emmett doesn't last." I smirked at Dean.

"You're on." Dean nodded.

"Don't hold back." Jasper smirked.

"Not in my nature." Emmett smirked before running at Jasper.

Emmett got a hold on Jasper before throwing him, but once Jasper got back up and Emmett kept trying to hit him Jasper ended up knocking Emmett down to the floor.

"Never lose focus." Jasper smirked.

"Pay up." I smirked causing Dean to roll his eyes and place the money in my hand.

"Did you really bet on me losing?" Emmett pouted.

"Awe, you'll always be my strong guy no matter what." I teased kissing his cheek.

Next up was Edward and Carlisle. At first Edward had the upper hand and pined Carlisle but looked over to Jasper.

"One more thing....." Jasper said as Carlisle came up behind Edward and took him down. "Never turn your back on you're enemy."

Then the next up was Rose. She was graceful but still missed a couple things making her lose.

"Sky!" Jasper called making me smirk. I'm gonna enjoy this.

I stood in front of Jasper and quickly phased.

"Holy shit! How did you do that?! When could you do that?!" Dean freaked causing Jasper, Sam, and I to roll our eyes before I ran at Jasper.

He tried to hit and throw me but ended up dodging him. When I ran at him he tried jumping, but I caught him mid air and threw him to the ground, pushing him back down with my paw when he tried to get up and bared my canines in his face as his hands were on the ground in mock surrender.

I smirked and walked off by Emmett, sitting between him and Dean who just looked like an idiot staring at me with his mouth open. I licked his face to make him stop and he groaned in disgust.
