Chapter 3: Do You Feel My Pain?
The most dramatic part of the book is this. Ready your handkerchiefs and tissues.
*Tim*
Its been a week since Josh is visiting our house regularly, much more often than I brush my teeth.
He's always talking to Elsa about some secrets and I don't care. He's always joining us every lunch and dinner. Well I have no choice Elsa invites him and not me.
And because of that Elsa asks me to run some errand like going to supermarket with Josh and going to the mall with Josh.
I don't have freedom now. Wherever I go Elsa let Josh to go with me and keep an eye on me.
"Timmy, if you don't mind can we watch a movies?" Josh asked while doing his signature pity looks. His puppy eyes and non-stop poking.
"I don't want to watch movies I need to sleep." I replied and he frowned.
"Just this once, please." He's doing it again. It reminds me of what he always do to persuade me.
He's still waiting for my response then suddenly I nodded.
"Oh my, thanks Timmy, you're the best." He said and pulled me into a hug. That's what he do when he finally persuaded me.
I don't know what to do but feel that moment, I think that I really missed him too but you know its really hard not to forget what he has done for tge past 3 years.
"Ah-I ahh sorry." He said and broke the hug.
So, we entered the movie theater and watch a love story movie.
We sat next to each other. While watching the movie, I could feel his head laying on my shoulders.
"You should have gone to your hotel room if you're going to lie your head on my shoulders. We paid for the movies not for my shoulders to be a pillow." I deadpanned. He just pouted his lips and removed his head from my shoulders.
I tried not to cry at this movie but while watching I could see him wiping his tears time to time.
After watching the movie we went home and went to my room.
"Did you like the movie?" He asked while lying on my bed.
*Josh*
"Did you like the movie?" I asked him while I'm lying on his bed and he's looking at the window.
"No!" He replied briefly.
"How can you not like the movie, I felt so in love with the storyline and on how the plot goes." I explained.
"First of all the actress don't act so good. Do you think that's great?" He asked seriously.
"At least the story is great." I added.
"Do you think that's great? Do you think the movie is great? The story line, the plot is great?" He asked simultaneously. All I did was to look at him confused.
"Do you think it is great for that man to came back after he left the girl for many years and came back just like nothing happened?" He asked furiously.
"Ah-I'm sorry." That was all I could say.
"Sorry? Huh! Like the man in the movie all he could say to the girl was sorry for leaving her without any goodbyes. Did the man see what the girl did while he was away. All she did was to cry every night thinking what was wrong with her or what was wrong with him. She might overthink every night if he was safe somewhere else or is he still eating fine, or is he doing fine, or has he taken his bath everything that could possibly happen while the man was away." Tears started to fall from his eyes.
