Chapter 16

After a few more tears and laughs by most of us.. the movie was over. It was actually really good, you know how sometimes they make the movie completely different from the book? Well, this one wasn't too bad I think. I think even the boys liked it.

We got to the cars again, just like before and went to Ryans/Lukes house.

While the boys got their stuff ready, Grace, Ryan and I got some food from the kitchen.

"So, hows you and Luke?" Ryan asked, changing the topic. It probably was more interesting to talk about Luke and I for Ryan than joining in conversation with Grace and I to talk about how gorgeous Ansel is.

"He knows?!" Grace shouted. Oh, I forgot to tell her that she wasn't the only one who knew.

"Yep… " I responded taking out a pack of chips out of the cupboard.

"Does he know like every single detail?" Grace asked.

"What do you mean by every single detail?" Ryan stopped what he was doing and looked at me.

"Nothing, ok. Theres nothing to tell-"

"Apart from that they went out at like midnight the other night." Grace interrupted me.

"So thats where he went. I heard him sneak out but didn't ask him where he was going. When is he going to make it official? Like, ask you out properly?" That boy was very nosy.

"He will… don't worry about it-" and there it goes again. Why do people keep interrupting me?

"Guys?! Come to the garage!" Ashton shouted over the sound of guitars.

So forgetting the conversation we were in the middle of, we went to the garage after getting the rest of the snacks and drinks.

When we got to the garage I noticed that Luke was setting up a camera.

"Are you uploading covers to youtube?" I asked him. He looked up at me and then got back to what he was doing.

"Um.. yeah, actually." he smiled, getting his guitar. "We've uploaded a couple already, I've uploaded a few back in Australia, but being in a band… it just sounds better." I can see he really liked this. He really enjoys being in a band with the guys. I love seeing him happy and doing what he loves to do.

"Well, I've heard the band sing and play and you guys.." I said addressing the whole band so they looked at me. "You guys are really awesome. Have you picked a name yet?"

"Actually, we thought of a few and were still deciding. I like 5 seconds of summer." Michael stated, also picking up his guitar.

"I like bromance." Calum chuckled.

"Who thought of that?" by now all of us were giggling. Bromance… haha

"Well, 5 seconds of summer sounds way better." I said honestly, taking a seat on the couch in front of the boys who were about to begin filming the cover.

"Hey, what song are you guys covering?" Grace asked, taking a seat beside me on the couch.

"Its actually an original.. remember that song Luke and I were writing?" then Michael winked before Calum turned on the camera on and Ashton did his usual '1,2,3,4' and then the music started playing.

Michael started singing.

"throwing rocks at your window, at midnight

you met me in your backyard, that night…"

The lyrics of the song reminded me of Luke and I…

I remember him saying that the song was about a girl that he likes… was it about me?

I looked over to see him already looking at me, smiling. Calum and Ashton kind of smirking as Michael continued singing.

Then it was Lukes part... The song was actually really good, these guys are amazing like I said.

I looked over at Ryan who smiled, giving a thumbs up to Luke and he smiled back, still singing.

"So you knew?" I whispered enough so he could hear me.

"Just listen." He replied quickly.

So I did. I listened to all the lyrics until the song finished. I was amazed by it. I mean, a guy just wrote a song about how he feels towards me and about the times we spent together. That doesn't happen to people like me.

"Was that what I think it was?" Grace seemed to be just as confused as I was. I didn't reply quick enough as I felt my hands being taken in someone elses and I stood up to find Luke looking straight into my eyes, then I kissed him. I think it was all of my emotions at this very moment taking over my body. It was a short kiss because we were in front of our friends. Kind of weird to kiss in front of people, but honestly, I didn't care.

"Will you be my girlfriend, Gabi?" these six simple words made my heart beat even faster than it already was, butterflies took over my stomach and I was lost for words so I kissed him again.

"Get in there, Gabi." Calum giggled.

I smiled into the kiss and then pulled away from his soft lips.  The smile on Lukes face was so adorable and at this moment I knew I was really in love with him. I know it might seem crazy, he just asked me out… but we knew about our feelings for a week now and during that time a lot happened and honestly, I fell harder for him each day. I just knew I was in love. But I knew I couldn't tell him.

I noticed that Ashton just filmed all of this and was gonna put it on youtube.

Luke turned to the camera, gave it a thumbs up and then kissed my cheek. He has to stop being so cute all the time.

Grace and I were offered to stay over for the night so we did.

The boys uploaded the video on youtube and I didn't know they already had that many fans from all around the world, they really deserved it though, that and more becauce they are amazing. People were commenting how cute Luke and I were and how awesome the song was. It still felt weird to be called his girlfriend but I loved it.

So for the rest of the night we stayed up watching random movies, telling jokes, me and Luke cuddled, kissed a little more but overall, tonight was one of the best nights of my life, and it wouldn't have been the same without all the people who took part in it.
