Chapter 17

It was now tuesday night and Luke and I were going out on a little date, our first date as a couple. There was a little over an hour left until he will be picking me up so I was getting ready. Although I was a little contious about the dress I wore, I decided to wear it no matter how I felt. It had a lower cut at the neck but it didn't show too much. The dress itself has a floral pattern with a mixture of blue and purple frowers. Its tight down to the waist and then flows down to about mid thigh length. I wore thick black tights because its freezing and also some black combat boots which are kind of in fashion and they make my feet feel warm so I like them. I also put on a black leather jacket to keep mysepf warner while outside. For makeup, I wore a little more than usual but still made it look quite natural with a smoky eye. I left my hair down, not doing anything because they're already straight.

Putting on a couple bracelets, I left my room to talk to dad. He was very happy when I told him Luke asked me out and I was happy because its nice to see your dad support you.

Dad was making himself some dinner as it was getting close to 6pm now. I said I'll pass because I have a feeling me and Luke will be going out to eat at some point tonight.

"Are you sure?" he asked for the 5th time.

"Yes, dad. And if he doesn't take me somewhere to eat, which I'm 99% sure he will because he's a hungry guy, I'll just ask if we can get food. Don't worry, and I'm not hungry right now anyway. Its all good." he smiled and nodded, starting to eat his steak.

"So, you're still taking me out tomorrow night?" I asked, just to be sure.

"Yes, we'll talking about this date then." then, the bell rang.

I smiled at dad before going to open the front door. Luke smiled, which killed me inside. We hugged, and it was one of those bone crushing hugs and those are the best.

Luke pulled away soon after because my dad was making an appearance.

"Hello, sir." Luke spoke to my dad, smiling a little. I hope he wasn't nervous.

"Sir?" my dad laughed. "Call me, Tom." they shook their hands like men do. "Have fun, and take care of her for me." dad was just being the dad he is.

Luke took a glance at me, intertwined our hands and said "I will."

"Good, now go, I have to finish my steak." we all chuckled and then Luke and I left to his car.

"So, where are you taking me?" I asked, fastening the seatbelt.

"To eat, and then we'll see." he winked, which meant it was a surprise. And about going to eat, I knew it, it was gonna happen by some point tonight.

When we got to the restaurant, we ordered our food and chatted. We talked about music, the boys, Australia and stuff like that until the food finally came.

"Where are we going after this?"I asked, getting a little curious.

"I have a nosy girlfriend." the way he said it made me blush, not because I was embarassed or something, it was because he called me his girlfriend. I was still not used to it.

"I just wanna know." I rolled my eyes playfully as a joke.

"You look beautiful tonight by the way." again, he was making me blush. "Someones blushing." he laughed making me blush even harder.

"Shut up." I giggled and took a sip of some orange juice.

"What if I don't shut up?" he raised his eyebrows which was funny, I gotta admit.

"I will do this." so because we sat across from each other at the table, I kind of had to stand up and then I kissed him, to my luck there weren't many people around us. It was a short kiss, but I definitely enjoyed it.
