After school, like agreed with Luke, I got a lift and we drove to his house.

It's hard to believe that I told Grace I like him, but I do. I couldn't deny it even if I tried. He always makes me happy, he makes me laugh, he cares. Sure, the rest of the guys care too but it's different with Luke. I know I don't know him for that long but during the time he's been here so far, I've changed in a way. I've become more confident around people and I love that feeling.

It was awkward because we didn't talk the whole ride there. I actually don't think he likes me. He never could, I mean have you seen me? I'm not the skinniest, prettiest or smartest person he would know. I'm actually pretty awkward and stupid. All I am is just his brothers friend, annoying friend who doesn't drive and always needs a ride to their house.

"So, how was school today without me, Gabi?" Ryan asked. His voice was husky and dry. He really was sick.

"Alright?"

"Alright? I thought it was gonna be terrible." he laughed, but stopped when he started coughing. Poor him.

"Ha ha ha." I fake laughed and sat on a couch away from Ryan, to make sure I don't catch the cold.

"Luke??!!!" Ryan shouted so Luke would hear him from upstairs.

"I'm on the phone, be right down!!" replied the one and only, Lucas.

"Ugghh, he's probably got a new girl wrapped around his finger, again." these words hurt a little, but obviously I had to hide it.

"Who has a new girl wrapped around their finger?" it was Michael. He walked in just like whatever.

"Luke." Ryan repeated.

"Oh really?" Mikey didn't seem surprised, he looked at me weirdly, smiling a little.

I was distracted as soon as Luke walked in, he was fixing his blonde hair, trying to leave it in a perfect quiff.

"Who were you on the phone with?" Ryan asked Luke.

"Mikey. He was on his way here."

"So you don't have a new girl wrapped around your finger?" Ryan was such a curious guys, it annoyed me abit.

"Nooooo?" that sounded more like a question than a statement.

"I'm sure you'll have a new girl by next week, I bet on it."

"Just shut up... We're away to do some banding." with that Muke left to go to the garage.

Me and Ryan talked for a bit, I told him about what happened during lunch and that Grace talked to me, but I didn't tell him what we talked about. Ryan was one of the best friends I've ever had in my life. Although I trusted him, I couldn't tell him that I like Luke, I was too scared to admit it. Yeah, I have told Grace but she's a girl. Sooner or later, I am gonna have to tell him though.

"Me and Mikey started writing a song today." Luke said when we got in the car so he'd drive me home, dad was still at work.

"What's it about?" I questioned curiously.

"You know how Ryan said 'he's got a new girl wrapped around his finger'?"

I just nodded in response. Does he actually though?

"Well, it's the other way around. A girl got me wrapped around her finger. So the song is called 'wrapped around your finger' " I took my eyes off the road and looked at him. So he liked someone, he liked someone that he decided to write a song for her.

"That's nice. When will I be able to hear it?"

"Not until I get to know that girl better. Me and the guys also need to get the guitars out and start getting the tune of it. I have some great ideas."

"Well, have fun figuring out this mystery girl." I replied. We were near my house by now.

"I will." he smiled widely, biting his lip. I knew that I couldn't look at him anymore, he's driving me crazy. "We're here, I'll see you tomorrow at school?"

"Yeah, bye." I opened the door and left without getting a chance to hear him say bye back.
