Chapter 5

Lukes POV-

Ash, Mikey and Calum left about half an hour after our first band practice. I'm actually pretty excited to start this band. I'm lucky I chose music, otherwise I wouldn't have met them.

Ryan and Gabi were in the kitchen eating pizza while I was in the living room, texting Monica. We weren't dating, yet. I might ask her out in a few days time though, she's hot.

Monica-"I really like you, Luke xxxx"

Me-"I like you too, let's keep it this way for a bit okay, just friends. I want to get to know you better I hope you understand. xxx"

Monica-"I understand, just friends ;) ;) xxxxx"

I didn't reply to that, honestly, I think she's being a bit tooooo clingy.

Ryan and Gabi walked in with some pizza, they were laughing. Gabi was a nice girl, if her and Ryan don't get together I'd be disappointed. She's gorgeous I think that Ryan does have a slight crush on her.

"How is superman better that Batman, Ryan?" Gabi spoke. I listened, not showing any interest. I agreed with her though, Batman was a lot better.

"He just is ok, I can't explain it. Maybe it's his looks?" Ryan laughed.

I got into the conversation. "Batman is way better looking than superman."

"Yeah, at least someone here agrees with me!" Gabi did a little fist bump in the air. This made me smile. What the he'll is wrong with you, Luke??

"I think I better go now, it's getting a bit late and my dad's gonna be worried." Gabi spoke braking the silence. We were watching Mean Girls quietly.

"You sure?" Ryan asked her.

"Yeah, I'll call dad to pick me up."

"I'll drive you back, it's no problem." I offered. Honestly, I don't have anything better to do anyway, might aswell make myself useful.

"It's fine, I don't wanna be a bothe-"

"It's fine with me." I got up, grabbed my keys and left for the car.

A minute later Gabi came out smiling, she probably likes Ryan, even though she said she doesn't.

She got in the car, fastening her seatbelt. I turned the radio on and all time low was playing again, this time it was "Time Bomb". Gabi started moving her head to the rhythm of the song and I started tapping the steering wheel.

Our little jamming session ended when I turned onto her street and then a moment later, her driveway.

"Thanks, Luke." she smiled slightly, it was cute.

"It's ok, see you later." after she left the car and walked over to her house, I drove back home, jamming to the music on my own, and guess what, I didn't enjoy it as much as I did when Gabi was here...

Gabi's POV-

When I got home I found the living room empty, dad was probably asleep.

I walked to my room quietly, so I wouldn't wake him up.

I got changed and soon I was in my bed.

After hanging out with Luke I feel like I misjudged him a little. He wasn't as bad as I thought he was, he was actually nice.

I'm happy I'm making some friends for once, friends that actually want me to be around them and friends that actually care. I've never had friends that were boys, it was usually girls but I guess boys are less drama.
