All that could be heard over the constant yelling and outbursts in the camp was, well, nothing. The Mithrans fought with each other often, out of habit and instinct of course.
Finally, the leader screeched over the noise,"STOP THIS MADNESS, OR I'LL HAVE EVERY HEAD OF YOU SAVAGES HUNG ON MY WALL!" The leader, or as the Mithrans called him, King, had his face flushed red in pure rage.
"Now," He relaxed "Which of you shall bring me my evening meal.." The king pointed at his son, who looked much like him. Same intimidating look, same red eyes, same pale skin, and the same tall and muscular figure. He got the dark blond hair from his mother. "My son, show your father respect and bring him a deer to roast." He boomed over the whispers and murmurs.
"Yes, sir!" Spoke the young man's tone. He looked no older than 19. As he walked towards the exit, a young, red haired female spoke from behind him. "Shatter, are you okay with me tagging along?" Her ears twitched, as did her mouth, both in hopefulness and joy. "Whatever, Cedar. Keep up." His tone was dismissive, yet was that, amusement hidden in it? Cedar shrugged it off, her small and thin figure having no trouble dashing along with Shatter. And the king went back to his usual demands.
"You!!" He pointed to a young, dark haired mithran. "Bring me some stew from the village. It'll go great with the deer I'll have."
"Yes, King!" The mithran hid her ears and tail and ran into the village.
"Now, for the rest of you idiots, go back to your usual chaos. Just don't disturb me unless I wake. Or else, trouble seeks you." The king growled before sleeping on his throne of bones.
Okay, so I know I didn't talk about my updating schedule in the last chapter, but I am now. I'll write two chapters each day. The first two are pretty short, but I promise the others will be longer. If anything changes, I'll let you guys know.
Comment down below what you think of the Mithran camp. I personally find it savage and not welcoming at all.
