"Hold Toothless... Hold." Hiccup said as we dove toward the ground below. The wind blew faster and faster, hitting his hair causing it to go wild. Soon, Hiccup found his heart beating crazily as the rocky shore approached slowly.

Behind him was a gigantic dragon. The source of the conflict between they, the Berkian and the dragons that had been wagging on for hundreds of years. Its eyes filled with hate and its deafening roar that could make one heart trembled.

Afterward, the telltale sound of air being sucked into the massive jaw of the dragon and the unmistakable built up of the flammable gas within the depth of its mouth.

"Please work." Hiccup thought to himself as Hiccup felt his heart going into overdrive as its pump blood into every nook and cranny driving his perception to the max.

"Now Toothless." in an instant, Toothless snapped around an unleash a ball of plasma into the mouth of the dragon, igniting it from the inside out.

Soon, the dragon realized its grave mistake as it speared its wings only to find that the membrane had been damaged. At the result, the dragon plummeted toward the ground as its eyes widen in fear.

Knowing devastating effect that the impact between the dragon and the rocky shore would bring, Hiccup commanded Toothless took up toward the sky in the hope of avoiding the thundering explosion.

Despite that fact that Toothless was the fastest dragon around and they even had a couple of seconds head start, but the fire in catching up fast. They zigged and zagged around the dragon gigantic body, dodging the dragon monstrous spikes.

Unfortunately, with only a flap of Toothless wings away from escaping the danger that they are in, Toothless artificial fin was burnt beyond operational. No matter how much Hiccup tried to change the direction, his course was destined to clash against the boulder of a tail. It seemed like even in death, the dragon still managed to take Hiccup and Toothless with it.

"No... No... No..." Hiccup yelled as the raging fire consume them both.

In the distant, the onlooker's expressions turned from undescribable euphoric to utter bitterness in a matter of seconds. They had just witness Hiccup did the impossible as he battled again the behemoth of a dragon. On the way down, just as the situation was in its most dire moment, Hiccup and Toothless had sent the dragon to its death with a single plasma shot to its mouth. But just before anyone could celebrate, the fire from the explosion had engulfed Hiccup and Toothless to their fiery grave.

"HICCUP!" Astrid screamed out in tears as the figure disappeared from view. "This can't be happening, no, no, no..." Astrid mumbled to herself.

Before she could react, Stoick had already rush over in the search for his son, the only family that he had left. For a man with a built of a mountain, he ran faster than anyone else, kicking up rocks and dust toward the crashed sight.

Upon arriving, everything was in crumble, lops of burnt meat shattered in every direction and the horrible stench of blood filled the air. The screen horrified every viking and even brought tears to the chief of the Hairy Hooligan.

"Son... I failed you." Stoick whispered quietly with tear swelling in his eyes. His defeated reaction stroke at the heart of the vikings and they stood there in silence.

Snotloud, Tuffnut, Ruffnut and Fishleg felt a wave of overwhelming sadness and guts wrenching guilt inside of them. The sadness of losing someone who showed them what dragons really like and the guilt of knowing that Hiccup, who they had always treated badly died in order to save those bullied him.

However, worst of all was Astrid, who heart had broken into pieces. The boy who changed her view of the world, the boy that had captured her heart was gone and to her, he could never be replaced. "Why did you have to die? Why did you introduce to us these marvelous creatures then you just left us like that?" Astrid cried inside her heart.
