The first full day at the SilverMoon pack wasn't very eventful. I stayed inside for the majority of day and only left to stand on the back porch to watch the sunset. Most of my time was filled by watching whatever channels loaded on the television and when I got bored of that I started snooped around. I looked at the photos on the walls and searched through kitchen cabinets. I didn't bother to look in any of the bedrooms, but this place is large. It wasn't a lonely day, but Bash left with the twins after lunch and didn't return until after dinner. At that point when I already retreated to his bedroom.

Today, however, is off to an eventful start. I was given an abrupt wake up call. Logan banged together pots and pans— a surefire way to get in my bad books.

His dumbass thought he could just come in the room and wake me up? Think again.

Bash says something before I can. "Logan I swear to god if you woke me up and there isn't an emergency I'll murder you."

Logan stops bashing together the pans only to place them at the foot of the bed. He pulls a wad of paper work out of his back pocket and hands it over to his Alpha.

"It's not an emergency but we got this faxed over from Alpha Harris."

Theo.

I sit up. "What does it say?" I lean over Sebastian's shoulder so I can get a better look.

"Cut it out." He stops me from looking at the paper and I cross my arms.

"Tell him I'll be ready in my office at eleven for the call and that I'll have his sister there as well."

"Aye aye captain. Also Jenny, the devil called. He wants his horns back." He sends me a smirk as he collects the pots and pans and exits the room.

"I don't understand how you haven't killed him yet? He's great but he knows just how to piss you off."

I stare up at his ceiling at the fan that is circling around, whipping air down at us. I don't know why it's on considering it's still in the forties outside, but I'm not mad. It's providing  a comforting sound, almost white noise like in nature.

"He's a lot like you," Bash says.

"I may be sarcastic and a bit crass, but he's another breed."

"No, I think I got the female version of Logan for my mate."

"You forgot to add better looking, smarter, and wittier." I remind him as I turn over, my back now facing him.

"Must've forgot humble too." I feel his side of the bed move and I know that he's gotten up.

I hear his shuffles across the floor and the sounds of hangers moving around the closet.

"What are you doing?" I call out once I realize he isn't getting back under the covers. "It's too early."

"What a shame." He mocks. "I actually need you."

I cherish my sleep and I don't give it up easily. I'll fight tooth and nail for an extra hour.

"I'm sure Theo will be fine without me being there for that phone call."
