Jungwoo was exhausted after last night. The storm hadn't cleared up until late, the car people took forever trying to fix whatever was wrong, and his phone still wasn't working quite right.
Sighing, he packed his things away, the last kid had just been picked up and it was time for him to go home and enjoy himself by eating a tub ice cream before he most likely passed out on the couch for hours.
"Excuse me, is there a Kim Jungwoo here?" Jungwoo knew that voice.
"He's in the next room over." Damn you, Hyojong.
Jungwoo turned around as his ex-boyfriend walked into the room, stopping once he saw Jungwoo.
"Hi, Jungwoo."
"What do you want Lucas?" Jungwoo asks, his tone flat and bored. He really didn't want to have to talk to him today. Nor any other day for that matter.
"I came to apologize." Lucas said, finally looking Jungwoo in the eyes. "I'm sorry for hurting you." He said, bowing further than necessary.
Jungwoo rolled his eyes. "And I'm Empress Wu ZeTian. Cut the act and tell me why you're really here." Jungwoo was frustrated with Lucas for so many different reasons that he didn't care if he sounded like a pretentious bastard at this point.
"I came to apologize, is that so hard to believe?" Lucas asked, furrowing his eyebrows as he stared at Jungwoo rather intensely.
"It's never just one thing with you, it's always two or three things. Especially when it comes to your dating habits, honestly, how low do have to be to cheat?" Jungwoo was getting angry now, and oddly enough, he was craving black coffee from SaumSaum Café.
"I didn't mean to cheat, but you acted like you never had enough time for me, and I got lonely. I'm not saying that it justifies what I did, but I didn't do it without reason!" Lucas looked more broken than Jungwoo felt, and he nearly felt bad for him.
"I'm sorry my sister was sick and I had a job, so I couldn't devote my every waking second to you. I was going through some pretty rough stuff and you were hardly ever there when I needed you. I closed myself off because I thought you didn't love me anymore, and then I found out you were cheating on me. I didn't want to breakup with you, but it came to that!" Jungwoo didn't like to unload himself onto other people, but for once he knew that Lucas out of all people, needed to know.
"I didn't stop loving you, but you made it so hard to get close to you. I felt useless and unloved, and I honestly would go back in time and fix if I could because I don't like the fact that I lost you." Lucas admitted, posture faltering as he looked everywhere but at Jungwoo.
"But you did. You lost me, and we both lost whatever love we had for each other. What's done is done." Jungwoo grabbed his bag, walking out of the daycare with a lot on his mind.
"Hey, Jungwoo!" Lucas called out after him.
"What?"
Lucas smiled. "Find someone who can love you better than I did."
Jungwoo smiles a little, having an internal conflict with his emotions. "I'm already on it."
And it's that small smile and nod of the head from Lucas that has Jungwoo feeling regretful.

567 woot, woot!
Anyway, more drama is ahead, seeing as this is only chapter 5.
Thank you to everyone who has stayed from the beginning, and hopefully will stay til the end.
Also, to DasConii, I made a character in my JeongChan book named Coni, who you have inspired she isn't a big part of the story yet, but I'm hoping to get her there soon, alongside Hani, because of the awesome 1-800_Johnny-Cal. So, look forward to that.
Love, Siha.☀☀☀
