"Oh, you two know each other?" Kun asks innocently, looking between his boyfriend and best friend.

"Yeah, we know each other. I'm gonna go see if the tables ready now." Lucas says, giving Kun a peck on the cheek before rushing off.

Kun stayed for a few more minutes, leaving only once the food had arrived, and also leaving Taeyong and Jungwoo in an awkward silence which neither boys knew how to deal with.

So, instead of talking, they simply enjoyed their food, sharing a few black bean noodles and pieces of chadolbaggi as the haegeum players started playing an old folk song that Jungwoo actually really liked.

"So," Taeyong started, adjusting on his pillow. "What's the deal with Lucas? You seemed pretty tense when you saw him." Taeyong turns his head ever so slightly to the side, and Jugwoo sees no point in trying to brush it off.

"We used to date, up until about a year or two ago. But I don't know how to explain what happend between us..." Jungwoo trailed off, twisting his chopsticks in circles between his fingers. "We were inseparable, and then my sister passed away, and we just kinda fell apart, I guess? Anyway, he cheated on me, I broke up with him, and the rest is history." Jungwoo slumped a little, poking at the black bean noodles that Taeyong had given him.

"I went through something similar in my high school years." Taeyong says, giving a soft smile to Jungwoo, who could certainly use it at this point. "My first, and only, girlfriend cheated on me right after my parents divorced, and my dad ended up in the hospital right after that."

Jungwoo cracks a small smile, despite the ever depressing mood. "Is that why you're gay now?" He asks with a light tone as Taeyong chuckles.

"Um, no. I actually found I was gay in college, when my friend and I attended one of the frat parties. Drunk guys everywhere, and let me tell you, it was an interesting morning the next day." Taeyong says, smiling as Jungwoo seems to forget, if only a little but, about Lucas and Kun. "What about you, how did you know you were gay?"

Jungwoo snorts. "I was kinda curious in middle school, so I was a little... adventurous during those years. I thought I was Bi in my freshmen year of high school, and by my junior year, I realized I was gay. VERY gay, in fact." Jungwoo says, smiling as Taeyong nods.

They continue to talk about their stories of 'finding their inner gay' and about smaller, weirded topics. Like, what would happen if you put the foam from a cappuccino on a hot chocolate, or if you added expresso to a smoothie.

Needless to say, Jungwoo was having such a good time, he couldn't care less as to what Lucas and Kun were doing. And it was exactly then that he realized something.

He didn't just like Taeyong, not like he thought he did.

He almost loved him.

Hell, he did love him.
