Taeyong had picked Jungwoo up at the latters apartment, laughing a little since Jungwoo had to run through the rain to get to his car.
"I'm sorry I couldn't pull up any closer." Taeyong said, cranking up he heater as Jungwoo just smiled, fixing his sweater tighter around him.
"It's fine, I've had to walk home in worse weather before." Jungwoo says with a smile, almost as if reassuring Taeyong that it was completely fine, for real.
"I will admit that we don't know much about each other, so please bear with me on where we're going." Taeyong said with a hopeful tone, though, he did sound a bit nervous.
Jungwoo simply hummed in response, eventually asking if he could turn on the radio. He didn't care much for silent car rides.
"Ooh, turn it up, this is one of my favorites!" Taeyong exclaimed happily from the drivers seat, still focused on the road ahead as Jungwoo did as asked.
1-2-3 by Seungri blasted from the speakers as they drove further into the city, eventually passing all the tall industrial buildings into a smaller more secluded part of Seoul.
Old traditional houses lined neighborhood streets and Jungwoo wondered why he'd never been here before.
"Okay, we're here." Taeyong said, watching Jungwoo's face to try and see what his reaction would be. He honestly hoped the younger would like it.
"Wow, this is beautiful..." Jungwoo stared at the house before them in awe. It had intricately carved statues on each side of the stone pillars that stood above a pathway to a large and old house.
Taeyong smiled to himself once he saw that Jungwoo enjoyed it. He hopped out of the car, not forgetting the umbrella he'd left in the back of his car, as he went to open Jungwoo's door for him.
"Aww, such a gentleman." Jungwoo cooed as he grabbed onto Taeyong's hand as he stepped out of the car, smiling as the older seemed to blush.
They made their way to the large house, which had been converted into a small and intimate restaurant with fairy lights and lanterns hanging from the ceiling as a band of traditional korean folk sneers and haegeum players happily performed off to the side on a small stage, each clothed in a different colored hanbok.
"Lee for two." Taeyong said to the woman at the podium, admiring the beauty of the restaurant as she flipped through a large leather bound book.
"Ahh, yes, right this way." She escorted them to a small private room close to where the performers were, while still having a comfortable setting. "Your waiter will be with you shortly." She said, bowing before leaving, her hanbok rustling slightly as she left.
"This is honestly so amazing, I've never been to anything like this." Jungwoo said, practically bouncing in his seat, which was honestly just a pillow as they had a more traditional dining set up.
"I'm glad, I wasn't sure if you were going to like it or not." Taeyong admitted sheepishly, smiling as Jungwoo shook his head.
"Like it? I love it!" Jungwoo had always liked the more traditional aspects of his culture, and he always wanted to tour some of the older places scatter across korea, but he'd never had enough money, so this was just perfect for him. He finally got to see a traditional house, and actually go inside of it.
"Well, let's find out what we want eat, and then we can spend the whole night talking about how much we like this place." Taeyong said with a chuckle, opening his menu as Jungwoo simply nodded.
"Welcome to Meng-Zhong-Meng, I'm your server, Mei-Mei, what can I get for you today?" Mei-Mei, was a fairly young girl, maybe fourteen give or take a few years.
"Black bean noodles and the teriyaki chicken." Taeyong said, closing the menu before passing it to Mei-Mei.
"Peking Duck and buckwheat noodles, please." Jungwoo said, passing the menu off as Mei-Mei nodded with a smile.
"They'll be out shortly, and please enjoy the complimentary green tea." Mei-Mei said, bowing before exiting, leaving the rice paper door half open.
Taeyong was just about to say something ass an unfamiliar male spoke up from the door.
"Hey, Jungwoo!"
Jungwoo turned his head to see his friend Kun at the door, smiling as Jungwoo greeted him with a small hello.
"So, is this the guy you've been talking about?" Kun asks, slightly nodding his he'd as Taeyong just sits there, blushing like a madman as Jungwoo shoots his friend a 'look'.
"Um, yeah this is Taeyong. Taeyong, this is my friend, Kun." Jungwoo said as briefly as possible before turning his attention back to Kun. "So, are you on a date, or do you just enjoy the food?"
Kun just chuckled. "I'm on a date, but he had to go get my sweater from the car." Kun said, shaking his head as Jungwoo nodded.
"I'm glad your not forever-alone now." Jungwoo said with a chuckle as Kun laughed.
"Hey, I got the sweater."
Jungwoo's breath hitched as he saw the familiar tuft of blonde hair and thick accent that most certainly was not korean.
"Jungwoo, this is my boyfriend, Lucas."
"Oh, uh, hi, Jungwoo."
"Lucas,"
Oh, this was going to be a fun night.

893 words, yessssss.
So, I've been studying for my ACT, and my scores have been good except for on my math. (I only got 8 out of 60 right, though I was only able to answer 37. Needless to say, math is most certainly not a strong suit of mine and I feel dumb because of it)
But I've been getting better scores on everything else, and it's just frustrating, so I apologize if I stop updating as often, but I really need to study so I don't flop.
I hope you guys can understand.
Love, Siha.☀☀☀
