Kishi Mansion Grounds: July 20th 2020: 12:00 AM

"You cant hide from me Kairi!" a voice called from behind.

Kairi Kishi was running through the woods of her new family estate, with a strange weapon in her hands.

After taking cover behind an oak tree, she cocked her gun to load the chamber and peeked around the side to get a good look at her pursuer.

She could see her pursuer running through bushes, following her from where she had run through the same bushes.

Her pursuer then paused and looked around the area for Kairi.

With a grin on her face upon seeing that her pursuer had no idea that she was hiding behind the great oak tree.

She checked to make sure her weapon was armed, and then leapt out from behind the oak tree and fired her weapon.

A stream of water shot out....and struck the bushes where her pursuer had once been.

"Huh?" Kairi asked in surprise, the "enemy" had been standing right there a second ago.

Suddenly a stream of cold water struck her from the right, from a red headed girl of 14 years of age.

"Nice try Kai..." Kessie Allen, daughter of Kagae's cousin Lt. Jeremy Allen of the LCPD said with a playful grin on her face "But I've been paintballing/water fighting in these woods for years, I know how to hide and track my quarry...you are so soaked!"

The two girls then began spraying and chasing one another with their water guns, laughing and enjoying the game like one would expect with kids just having fun.

Her great cousin, Kess "Kessie" Allen was pretty fun in Kairi's opinion.

When they had met here at the Kishi Family Dinner where she was introduced to the family, her adoptive fathers family, she was pretty nervous.

She was afraid that she'd end up having trouble getting along with her new cousins, aunts, uncles etc.

Thankfully that wasn't the case.

Now if only she could whup her cousins butt at water tag!

She couldn't help but wonder if her father ever lost any of these games to this teenager before Kairi came along, he would have been the best hide and seek/water tag buddy to test skills with.

Then again, maybe he was the one who taught her to be this good in these woods.

If that was true, she didn't have a hope in beating her cousin.

Nuts!

Back on the mansions back porch balcony veranda, Machiko Kishi, Rachel Kishi and Margret Allen heard the girl's cries of fun from the back woods.

Margret Allen smiled, "Glad to see the girls have hit things off so well. Kessie always wanted to have a little sister..." she then looked down at the four month baby boy she was breastfeeding "she was disappointed when little Ralphie here was revealed to not be the case."

"I remember that..." Rachel said amused, putting on a mimic of her niece's pouty face she had put on when she had heard from her yet to deliver mother at the time that it wouldn't be a girl, and said in the exact tone she had used what her niece had said to her new sibling while he was in the womb.

"Traitor."

The two women laughed at the memory.

"I'm just glad I delivered before that craziness with that Dark Shadow guy happened" Margret Allen said, "Can you imagine what would happen if I had to deliver during the blackout and riots?"
